Do you think men or women are more likely to jump to conclusions based off of a single statement or do you think they're equally likely?

Who'd think this has a deeper meaning than what has been said?

Ex. "I'm sick so I can't meet you today."

Who's more likely to think of this as a rejection or that something else is going on aside from actually being sick?

by the way I'm literally just curious about your thoughts. It's not about who's better men vs. women. And... I just gave you another example because I'm sure some people are more likely to think this question is about men vs. women instead of what I said.

Omg i can't even decide 😂 I definitely jump to conclusions but i always ask for more information as to why thats their response. And then thats when i learned i jumped to conclusions and i calm down. But omg when dudes jump to conclusions its like you’re at a dead end. They dont ask “why” they just fire off and then i just shutdown and dont even care to explain anymore. Honestly elderly women (like parents, grandparents? do this same thing though when they jump to conclusions. So again i guess its not based on gender alone. Maybe i’m just horrible with timing. I feel my delivery is right but its like im not explaining it in the order that would keep everyone calm. I think im the type that gives bad news first 😂

I'd be suspicious of the "I'm so sick" as soon it was uttered out of covid times. Immediately I would assume there is something else going on because it is an easy excuse to make.

I've had a girl tell me she sat on a nail and has to go to hospital then seen her at a club that night.
