Recently had a funny conversation with one of my sisters and my mom about how we act when we're defensive. It was mostly about my mom, me and sisters. It was hilarious!

Seeing yourself honestly, what persona do you think comes closest to you when you get defensive?

Is there a mix? Another type you can think of?

I work remotely so only interactions I’ve had with these people are through teams. I’ve been there almost a year, so far I haven’t had any negative interactions with the people on my team. Today after we all met my boss sends me message separately wanting to speak. She started it with saying that she doesn’t want to read into my body language during the meeting too much but it looked like I rolled my eyes & she wanted to know there’s something I’d want to discuss with her. I told her no & had to ask if this was the first time I gave this impression. She said no it’s happened enough for her to want to bring it up today. I told her it’s been a few stressful weeks & it’s all fatigue, if I did it’s nothing against her. But if she’s been saying I’ve been doing this for a while then I have no excuse to back that up. I have two monitors, one on top of desk & other at eye level so I had to bring that up, she said she didn’t want to bring it up at our 1:1. I told her that I’m pretty responsive communication wise & didn’t think overall I came across that way, I said that to imply that I have no issue communicating with her. I’ve been pretty open with her, she said her bringing this up had nothing to do with my work ethic this is all regarding “attitude”. With all the communication we’ve had in the past, she’s said positive things for the most part & this is the first time I really felt tense talking to her. She honestly seemed kind of upset, tomorrow is our 1:1 for the month & I’m kinda nervous.

My friend is 25 but currently thinking of getting a lubal ligation. They initially just thought about having one child and then another one later on but she gave birth to quadruplets, it was a complicated pregnancy (all 4 were born premature at 32 weeks but they're healthy now) and had an emergency C-section. She was just 22 on that first pregnancy.

She's thinking of whether to have a tubal ligation or hysterectomy even though she's still young. Her husband is agreeing with it. They don't want anymore kids. If the woman is still in her good fertile years but already had a multiple pregnancy the first time... should she get lubal ligation or hysterectomy if she wants to?

I keep hearing this online but not really seeing it happen in real life but I'm not going to lie it sounds really nice. If it's true and turning 30 magically makes me less noticeable to men that would be really convenient but I look young for my age and I'm skeptical.

I'm not willing to get fat or stop taking care of my skin because those affect my health and comfort in my own body but if there was like s subtle hormone change men could smell or something that made them less interested that would be amazing!

I think there are two kinds of people... Those who buy new stuff all the time and those who do only one or two big shoppings per year.
