Okay…..

so there were incidents with my boyfriend, that made me question about our relationship. Communication wise.

whenever I discuss with him about something, he makes jokes about it.

Example: I was telling him a story about me going to a Mormon church meeting. That he asked “are those the people who wear white gowns and burn black people on the cross?” I responded with “what?, no. That’s the ‘ku klux klan’.” Then he made a joke comment, “really? I thought you had a membership 😄” 🤨…. so I was kinda uncomfortable about that comment. Then he kept going on saying “you should join, cause you already look white lol.”

Then I changed the subject and was talking about my family. How my mom punishes my sisters and I, whenever our partners are unhappy. Like it’s our fault. Then my boyfriend made another comment saying “haha, so your mom would like me better than you.”

I mean I was kinda stunned about this conversation and what he said. That I let him go and hung up the phone. Now I’m here questioning and wondering how our relationship will be in the future. “Will he be supportive of me and be on my side and protect me? Or will he make fun of me in sensitive matters?”

My supervisor has 3 children, an 8 year-old girl and two 11 year-old twin boys. The girl has been always kicking, passing and touching the ball from an early age. Unfortunately not many girls are into that so she plays with boys her age for the meantime; winning some.

The parents tried to get her brothers motivated into playing soccer but they have no interest and aren't great either. Only the girl seems natural at it and loves it. She wants to be a soccer player and participate in the Fifa women's world cup in the future.

Basically their daughter is doing what they would've wished their sons were great at. If your were the parent would you feel bad if only your girl was good with the ball but not your son (s)?

Before he met me at 18 he went 6 months no sex. And only met someone new cos it came to him.

Although he went out his way to meet me.

It’s been 6 years and he claims he’s unbothered by sex and always has been and can go a really long time without it.

Is it me or is he just like that?

So I moved in with my boyfriend a few months ago and it's going pretty well except he gets really annoyed if I don't knock before entering his office, and we had a big fight about it.

He said that it's common courtesy to knock before entering a room with a closed door and I told him in my own home I should be free to go where I want and what is he hiding anyway? We ended up arguing over this with neither of us conceding and then he pulled the "at the end of the day I own the house, and it's a rule, I do the same for you" except I don't care if he knocks or not.

I am very curious to know which is a better investment. Career growth potential? Cost? Admission?

I don't think admission would be my biggest issue, I am a seasoned public speaker, as well as an honors student. I do debate, but at the same time, I excel in science. The big issue is that I am not rich lol. On a surface level, which would you choose?

Personally, I am leaning towards a law career as studying the law and government comes very easy to me, and every year more and more people try to get into med school. Also, my parents are friends with many doctors and lawyers, and lawyers seem to have more autonomy and free time and are less depressed lmao

I told this guy that I liked him months back, so he knows I'm interested. The thing is I know that he's Muslim and I know about how Muslims view dating. But although I didn't ask him, I ask if he wanted to grab some coffee from Starbucks with me next Thursday. He said sure and suggested a Starbucks 10 minutes away. But I suggested the one on campus and even offered to buy him a cup. He agreed to meet next week in the late afternoon.

So although I didn't directly ask him, is it the same as asking him out on a date or no?

Fox News is facing backlash for not reporting on the Covid-related death of a former Washington state trooper, as the man had previously appeared on the network to critique vaccine mandates.

Robert LeMay was interviewed on several Fox shows back in October of last year, where he explained why he resigned from his position after refusing the Covid vaccine.

While the conservative network attempted to paint Mr LeMay as a defiant hero in the ongoing culture war, Fox itself has implemented a system whereby employees need to be vaccinated (or tested daily).

The 22-year veteran of the Washington state trooper force had actually received a medical exemption from getting a vaccine, but he still resigned before that was due to take effect. In doing so, his story became a politically expedient one for right-wing outlets that wished to bash proposed vaccine mandates.

On 18 October 2021, Mr LeMay appeared on Fox & Friends First, with co-host Carley Shimkus concluding an interview with him by saying: “The choices that people like you are being forced to make are pretty unbelievable,” before praising him as “a fantastic police officer” whose resignation was “Washington state’s loss”.

“What’s next for you — other than being a celebrity now — what’s next for you?” host Laura Ingraham asked toward the end of the interview. Mr LeMay replied that he was a “spokesperson” for thousands, even millions, of Americans, and also that he had some great job prospects.

“All right, well, a sleeping giant, maybe a sleeping giant,” Ms Ingraham added, referring back to Mr LeMay’s use of the term earlier in the interview. “We hope that that’s what’s happened here. We’ve awakened it slowly but surely. Robert, thank you for joining us. We really appreciate your voice and best of luck to you.”

On Friday evening, the chief of the Washington State Patrol issued a statement announcing Mr LeMay’s passing.
