Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, ruffled some feathers over the weekend when he took issue with a tweet from children’s television staple and “Sesame Street” star Big Bird.

The fictional character told his followers that he has been vaccinated, and Cruz called it “Government propaganda…for your 5 year old!”

But this isn't the first time Big Bird urged vaccination: Following Cruz's remarks, a clip from a "Sesame Street" episode from 1972 resurfaced on social media, showing the beloved Muppet promoting vaccination.

In the clip, Big Bird investigates a line outside of Hooper's Store, which temporarily became a vaccine clinic for the measles shot, complete with a sign that says "Don't Wait. Vaccinate." Big Bird meets a doctor administering the shots, then decides to get in line himself.

"I know what I'm going to do right away," Big Bird says. "I'm going to get in line."

I love each of them, but my top favorites are either ankle boots or thigh-high boots (no i can't choose one). Next one would be knee-high and last is mid-calf boots.

Which one do you wear the most? Im also curious which ones guys like seeing most on the people who wear them.

My boyfriend works with this girl and she randomly sent him this picture while we were together asking for his opinion. This isn’t the first time one of these girls does this. I already have experience with them. I told her off because I was so pissed off. She knows he’s taken because she follows both of us on Instagram. Why are they like this? Not all of them but MOST of them are.
Before you call me a Karen or whatever, just know my boyfriend is very handsome and has dark blonde hair so I have to be a little concerned whenever a girl does something like this. Don’t you agree with me this is inappropriate and unacceptable?

we don’t know what the long term side effects are but I’m guessing it won’t be good in the long term. There is so much more surgery you can do rather than take hormone blockers.

Don't get me wrong both of their perspectives offer great insight on what it takes for a man start dating the woman that he wants. But I can't help but feel that one is just slightly more insightful than the other.

Kids just want to do nothing but play video games. They don't want to pick up after themselves or do anything to help around the house. How about offering rewards to do certain chores, like 50 cents to pick up their rooms? Then they can use the money to buy themselves something when they save up some money. What do you do/ or did to get kids to be more responsible?

My boyfriend (of 8 years) keeps the fan on every night and I’ve never complained. However, lately I’ve gotten tired of freezing every fall/winter. I have a disease that prevents me from regulating my body temperature, so I am especially sensitive to cold. There is an air conditioner on his side of the bed he could run the fan on without bothering me, but he won’t. He also insists that we sleep on top of the sheets/comforter with a single mexican blanket covering us.

I just turned off the ceiling fan and now he’s legitimately angry. He claims there’s no air circulating, even though I cracked the window. I mentioned the air conditioning fan option and he’s still mad. Every time I try to talk about anything, he tries to start a fight about the fan. I honestly think it’s ridiculous to run it when freezing outside anyways. He even complained all through the night about being cold himself. It seems like he just doesn’t want to take my comfort into consideration at all. Am I being ridiculous? Thoughts? Thanks in advance!

I’ve been doing 3-4 times a wk squats with pulse with 10 lb dumbbell barley on my 2nd wk. I had one month doing the squats with 8lb dumbbell but that wasn’t heavy enough. I only do 3 reps 10x.

I actually have this happening in two different cases. My younger brother treats his daughter like a slave. She is expected to keep the house clean, watch her special needs sister, go to school (online classes) and she is also working nearly 30 hours a week. When I say slave I mean, he refuses to do the work at all including taking care of his own special needs daughter. He refused to let my niece (she is 17) come over to see our new puppy because he didn't want to watch his special needs daughter by himself. He also makes her do stuff like massage his feet, bring him dinner and give him money from her paycheck to buy him fast food. There is more than just that, but these are just examples.

When she is 18 she wants to move in with my wife and I so she can get away from it and focus on school and having a life.

My friend (21) also has a very similar situation where her father actually bugs her apartment (he sometimes stays there and pays rent since she is a full time student) to listen in on her conversations. He says he is only paying for her college so she becomes a doctor where he can then retire and have her support him financially for the rest of his life. She isn't even sure she even wants to be a doctor and has major medical issues that her parents ignored growing up that could have been fixed when she was younger. Her mom is not better honestly. I have sort of unofficially adopted her and she does things like movie nights with me and my family (our kids see her as an older sister), but mostly I just try to help her build confidence in standing up for herself.

Given the situations, would you help or stay out of it?

There isn't much food that can't be greatly improved with a deep fried crispy coating. But when it comes to crunch which is king, batter or breadcrumbs?
