The Eurovision song contest is held every year and many countries compete. It originally included only countries in Europe but over the years other countries have participated: Australia and Israel, for example.

Now Canada has announced that it will participate in the contest in Vienna in 2027., making it 4 continents (3 outside Europe) that participate.

Is it time the name was changed from Eurovision to Worldvision?

Elon Musk: free-market capitalism, tech innovation, deregulation, SpaceX/Tesla/xAI outsider appeal, etc

Zohran Mamdani: democratic socialism, redistribution, tenant rights, public housing, working-class economic reform, etc

I would vote for Elon Musk because I trust a builder, innovator, and free-market capitalist far more than a democratic socialist.

Musk has actually created companies, jobs, technology, rockets, vehicles, infrastructure, and artificial intelligence platforms. He represents innovation, private enterprise, deregulation, and American technological strength.

Mamdani represents the opposite direction: redistribution, government expansion, rent control-style thinking, and democratic socialism. I do not want the country run by someone whose solution to every problem is more state control and more dependency.

So yes, between a flawed capitalist entrepreneur and a polished socialist politician, I would choose the capitalist builder every time.

Hypothetical: If someone born in the U. S. to an illegal immigrant mother was raised in a communist country, then returned as an adult and ran for president as a Democratic socialist, would you vote for him?

I would not vote for him. Being born on U. S. soil may make someone legally eligible under current interpretations, but that does not mean voters should ignore ideology, upbringing, loyalty, or worldview.

If someone was born here only because his mother entered illegally, then was raised in a communist country and returned as an adult promoting democratic socialism, that would raise serious questions for me about whether he truly understands or values the American constitutional system.

The fact that this could even theoretically happen shows why birthright citizenship deserves serious debate. Citizenship should not be reduced to a loophole that can later produce candidates shaped by anti-American ideologies.
