We all know from biology it takes a man to make a new human. Without men, we wouldn't be here. Every human being here is a 50% creation of a man. Genes, cells, hair, eye color, even behavior. Since 'birth' traditionally refers to the physical act of gestation of a newborn, should it also apply to fathers, considering they play a irreplaceable role in creating life? Some people use 'birth' metaphorically to mean 'creating from scratch,' but others take it literally, which can blur the lines of biological roles. Is it okay to twist the meaning of 'birth' to include fathers, or should there be a better word for their contribution?

I work in casual office where we can wear nice jeans. I know what shoes to wear with my blue jeans, but I am trying to decide what to wear with my black jeans. I really didn't want to wear sneakers all of the time even though I know that is a style. I have three possible choices other than sneakers, so I put them in poll form. I thought about buying some black ballet flats, so I will put that as a choice as well. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
