Now that millions of people have seen the FIFA Men's World Cup 2026, there is a lot of discussion of who is the greatest soccer player of all time.

Who do you think is the GOAT (Greatest Of All Time)?

Note: The players in this question are considered great, but there are thousands who have played the game at a high level. These players are shown with the country they play for internationally, though they may also play, or have played, with professional teams in other countries. For example, among others, Pele played for New York Cosmos in the United States, Messi played for Barcelona in Spain and Miami in the United States, and Ronaldo and Mbappe each played for Real Madrid in Spain.

I often wake u in the middle of the night, sometimes to go to the bathroom, sometimes not. I usually fall back asleep in a few minutes and then wake up at the usual time.

A children’s book titled Communism for Kids: Learn What Communism Is and How It Has Changed the World for Babies, Toddlers, Kids and Young Children is being marketed to very young children.

Its full book overview says:

“This book is an introduction to communism for kids. It explains what communism is and how it has changed the world. Kids will learn about Karl Marx’s ideas. And they will also learn about the different attempts to make a communist society and why they all failed. Finally, kids will gain an appreciation for how Karl Marx’s ideas have made the world a better place.”

I have no objection to teaching children history, including capitalism, socialism, communism, fascism, and other political systems when they are old enough to understand them. But there is an important difference between teaching children what an ideology is—including its successes and failures—and explicitly seeking to cultivate appreciation for that ideology in babies, toddlers, and young children.

The description itself acknowledges that attempts to create communist societies failed, yet concludes by saying children will gain an appreciation for how Karl Marx’s ideas supposedly made the world better.

Should books for babies and young children encourage appreciation for Karl Marx’s ideas?

I want to start by saying I am not here to attack your faith or start an angry debate. To be completely honest, I do not believe in God. When I look at the world, things like biology, the brain, and how the universe works just seem to run on their own natural rules. Because of that, I have never really found a reason to believe in a creator.

But I am also very curious. I know belief is a huge part of many people's lives, and I want to understand the other side without judging it. I really want to know what it was that convinced you that God is real.

Was it a specific moment or a personal experience you had? Is it a logical idea that just makes perfect sense to you? Or is it something you just feel deep down?

I am not asking this so I can argue with your answers or tell you that you are wrong. I genuinely just want to see things from your point of view. And I like to keep an open mind. If someone shares a reason that is truly convincing and makes sense to me, I am absolutely open to changing my mind and believing too.
