I have ask a question 4 days ago regarding to tell my big boss my question is on my profile saying should I go above?

My manager and a coworker was right beside the rehab door

And the man came around and I look straight at my manager my manager look straight at me

He look at my manager
Back at me
Said hey Jasmine hru
And then i smiled a little smile behind the mask
And my manager didn't take her eyes off of me
So I didn't even. Anknowledge him tbh

But not just that though... I'm seriously not knowing if I should literally tell him ( because he the boss over everyone literally and the building literally )
About how my manager did.. a confidentiality.. about me to another coworker.

np just don't understand why my manager would be like that towards me it like someone was jealous she was blocking the door way she was entering the door that why I kept looking at her.. she said she was just stressed it I'm not sure. it like she was jealous like I'm not even gonna fight over a man fuck that I'm just in pain and wanna get work done. Ik state is in here sooo I'm not sure. What truly going on

Like I've been working here for about 16 months now, everyone is really super nice and it's a great first "proper" job. But next September I'm going to need something that's either hybrid or completely working from home so that I can do school drop offs and pick ups etc. So in a couple of months I'm going to start looking for jobs (I've just moved home and am still getting furniture and things, and I'm constantly tired so not good if I want to be my best).

I'm pretty sure they know that I'll be leaving soon, I said to my manager that I see myself as x in five years which is completely different to what I'm doing now. I've mentioned a couple of times I'm going to need to change jobs before lo goes to school so it's not that they don't know sometime in the future it'll happen.

We're short staffed atm already, and I figure the earlier I tell them the more prep they can get for getting another person there.

What do you think? When would you tell your manager when you're thinking/are leaving?

NOTE: THIS SAME COMPANY JUST ANOTHER DEPARTMENT

I am now working in a customer service under Airline account. It is my first time to work in a customer service job because my experience was purely back office like finance and operations. I am struggling to this job and even the supervisor know about it for sure.

I applied to another department that is back office operation under the same project Airline (but purely back office not customer service) and passed the excel exam and got final interviewed. I told them that my supervisor didn't know about my application because I am not yet sure if I will be hired. And, they said the hr will just inform me if I am hired and will advice the next step for me and do proper communication.

My question is, should I tell my supervisor that I was interviewed by other department in back office position now OR should I wait until there is already announcement that I am hired before I tell the supervisor?

I am so confused if I tell now, he might support me to my transfer, If I tell now, he might dislike me and do some troubles for me especially if I am not hited.

If I tell later after I am hired, he might be so mad at me or think I disrespect him.
