The Type of Guys Girls are Really Into

As most of you already noticed, this is one of the most asked and discussed topic on GAG.

Which is why I decided to write this in order to make every guy out there finally understand, once and for all, what type of guys (real) girls go for.

The Douchebag - Nice Guy theory:

Almost every guy out there has this invented theory that "Nice guys finish last" and that girls "always" go for Douchebags aka Jerks and that the Nice Guys out there are always friendzoned by the girl and that they don't stand a chance in getting the girl.

Now I'm gonna tell you in detail what girls actually think about the two type of guys.

1. Douchebags

THE ONLY TYPE OF GIRLS WHO GO FOR DOUCHEBAGS ARE BITCHES.

As simple as that. Us girls, don't find anything attractive in a jerk:

- a guy who is superior to everyone.

- a guy who doesn't treat his girl right.

- a guy who spits on the ground in public.

- a guy who considers himself as the best.

- a guy who isn't respectful towards anyone (whether it were a child, someone their age, or someone older - a teacher, a cashier, THEIR PARENTS, etc)

- a guy who thinks he can use his money to get anything he wants ( a girl, high grades, etc)

- a guy who shows off.

- a guy who swears a lot (in any situation).

- a guy who works out for the sake of getting girls.

And the list goes on...

So practically, 'real' girls (the girls you should be with) avoid Douchebags and believe they are Jerks who need to watch their behaviour. And probably be raised from the beginning.

Whereas the girls u guys are interested in, and the girls u always see are with these type of guys, are simply f*cked-up girls who want nothing more than sleeping around and, well, they're just dumb.

The other category of girls who might go for Dbags are the sweet girls who think "they can change the guy" and who want to be their saviour and who think there's hope for these Jerks to come to their senses which, of course, as we all know, isn't possible. Cuz Jerks will remain Jerks. And Dbags will remain Dbags.

Exception:

the teenage Douchebags are considered to be imature kids. Y'know, the "popular" guys in high school, or the bullies. These boys are Jerks because they think that's the only way in getting attention from anyone. Most of these teens change when they get to college and some look back and think "gee, I was such an asshole in high school", while others remain Jerks, for some reason.

2. Nice Guys

THE SWEET AND OH-SO-INNOCENT KINDA GUYS.

This type is known for being friendzoned by almost every girl. These are the guys who are always secretly in love with a girl who, according to them, is out of their league.

When they finally express their feelings to this girl, turns out, she doesn't feel the same way and BAM! she puts him in the so called "friendzone".

Nice guys are usually nice (well, duh), sweet boys, who apparently have this one idea stuck in their head, that "girls prefer being with a jerk" or, more specifically "ALL GIRLS go for jerks". They think so because the girls they are usually interested in, are always interested in the Douchebags.

Hmm...but I wonder why only the girls they're interested in prefer jerks.....

Simply because the girls the Nice Guys wanna be with belong to the two category of girls I mentioned before. Those girls who go for jerks.

The most annoying thing in Nice Guys is the fact that they keep generalising females. If a couple of girls weren't interested in him, then ALL girls aren't interested in him. Or if a girl considers him 'ugly' then ALL girls think he's ugly which leads to him thinking that he's not worthy and that he'll NEVER find a girl who likes him.

Which is whyyy...the Nice Guys made this theory that "Nice guys finish last". And that if you want to get the girl, you should be a douche.

One of the reasons girls aren't attracted to this category is because of their LACK OF CONFIDENCE (will be discussed in detail later).

I'm sure many of you have seen or read on this site posts like "I'm done being the nice guy" or "What do girls find attractive in jerks" or, a more recent question: "Tips on being a Douchebag?". This recent question was about a guy who considers himself ugly and says that girls 'run' from him each time they see him. And this wise man's only solution to his problem was...ba dum tss...become a Douchebag! Because, well, guess what? Girls "ALWAYS" go for Douchebags.

That is the question that inspired me to post this.

The only solution to such a man's problem is the following:

Find out what doesn't make you the dating material and change it about yourself. You're fat? Lose weight. Your hair looks terrible? Get a haircut. You're anti-social and awkward? Get out there and socialise! Etc.

I once read a comment on the same topic which was also about women being generalised for something. And there was this girl who wrote the following:

" I DON'T KNOW WHAT KIND OF GIRLS YOU SURROUND YOURSELF WITH BUT IT SOUNDS TO ME LIKE THE PROBLEM HERE IS YOUR CHOICE IN GIRLS. THIS IS GETTING REALLY RIDICULOUS HOW PEOPLE THINK THEY HAVE ALL FEMALES FIGURED OUT. NO YOU DON'T. A FEW WOMEN DO NOT EQUAL BILLIONS OF OTHER WOMEN."

So, guys, learn that comment by heart and think about it before you wanna post any question of such kind.

Finally, here's the type of guys girls are really interested in:

3. GENTLEMEN

This is want we want. WE WANT A GENTLEMAN FOR CRYING OUT LOUD.

We want a classy man:

- a man who opens the door for you.

- a man who is respectful (who respects you, treats you right, treats everyone equally - whether they are younger or esp older, respects his parents, etc)

- a man who never shows anyone he's superior to them.

- a man who helps others.

- a man willing to do anything for his girl.

- a man who makes his girl feel special.

- a man who works out (or not) for the sake of being HEALTHY.

- a man who calls you beautiful ( NOT the so called 'bae').

- a man who makes you feel protected.

And the list goes on and on...

The confidence issue:

Girls like guys who know what they want and go for it. Guys who are confident. Who know how to keep the conversation goin. Who know how to comfort his girl. This is what we go for. The confident guys.

The guys who lack confidence are usually awkward, and that is not attractive.

A GUY WHO IS CUTE AND doesn't KNOW IT MAKES HIM EVEN CUTER!

Now, girls, i'm sure we all agree on this! Nothing is more attractive than a pretty man who doesn't know he's pretty.

A cute/hot guys who knows it tends to behave more like a Douche. For instance: they'll think all girls wanna be with him because of his looks and no matter how they behave, they'll still want to be with them. They tend to be overly-confident with leads to pushing the girls away ( depends on the girl of course).

This is why handsome guys who don't know it are the most attractive type of guys according to girls.

As a conclusion:

- a guy in a suit is sexier than a guy with baggy pants and a hat.

- a guy with class is sexier than a guy with swag.

I hope you guys learnt something from this. And I hope you're not close-minded and stubborn.

there's only two things men need to worry about and that's being a guy who is dominant (the sexual side of a woman) and romantic (the emotional side of a woman.) Douchebags go for being dominant at the expense of being at all emotional and sometimes this can result in a spree of one night stands with the girl instantly regretting her decision or the occasional girl who is satisfied with a purely physical relationship.

the nice guys actually do get girlfriends a lot... they don't do half bad. I would say most of the guys with girlfriends currently are nice guys. They probably were friendzoned a bunch until meeting a girl that was satisfied with the fact that the nice guy was only stimulating them emotionally. Over time, the nice guy will realize he needs to be more patient with the speed at which he goes after a girls emotional side because girls do like a romance to build over time but will almost never realize he is missing a key component which is dominating her. He will feel it but won't know it. Most girls won't be mad with this situation and most won't cheat but some will.

Therefore the type of guy who a girl is into is a guy who is both dominant and loving. Both rough and tender. Who takes her roughly doggystyle out of nowhere then makes love to her hours later while never breaking eye contact and telling her how gorgeous she is.

It's a lot of work which is why guys need to be just as discerning as girls are when it comes to choosing which girls to get close to.

There is a huge difference between nice guys and "nice guys".
"Nice guys" are whiney, self righteous assholes, who - much like your meme - thinks girls are fucking bitches for not wanting to be with them, and she definitely deserves to be abused by that other guy she chose. They think being "nice" puts them in the top league, and that she is obligated to sleep with him, if he is nice to her. When in fact, being nice is the bare minimum for being a tolerable human being.
They are like the assholes, except they feel sorry for themselves and they don't look good, so they are actually worse than the assholes. A guy who makes the statement "Im a nice guy" is in 95% of the cases, not a nice guy.

Then there is the good guys, the honestly nice and great guys.

I once was a true nice guy - I didn't want nothing in return, I just believed in a "society" - that maintaining a positive environment will make a world better for all of us. After that time I have one, maybe two close female friends, other than that no female ever reciprocated my respect and they never wer nice to me actually; while I made many great male friends. There is a fine line between a gentleman and nice guy. Nice guys claim there isn't but there is. The difference is confidence, and mainly motive. Confidence for arguments sake encompasses all like hygiene and actually being socially competent. Nice guys generally can lack one or both. Usually being socially awkward. And mainly, their reason for being nice. It's because they want something. They try to be nice to a girl in thinking she "owes" him something such as attraction, which is complete and utter horse shit. They are treating their actions as "Oh I'm being nice, therefore if she doesn't like me, then she's a selfish bitch who only likes douchebags" or any other variant. They are *faking* being a gentleman for a selfish and damn near pathetic motive. Thinking they have to guilt or in debt someone into attention attraction. Meanwhile a gentleman does it because that is his personality. He doesn't self proclaim himself to be a gentleman or nice. He does it to be pleasant and genuine with all around him and doesn't do it for an alternate motive such as needing to guilt someone into a relationship and blame the lady when it doesn't work out or they are inevitability "FRIENDZONED" which is a bullshit place which doesn't exist. It's an excuse someone uses to pin blame of lack of attraction on another party and it's their problem personally.

I'm glad someone else understands this concept so well and realized the bullshit a lot of men come up with when they lack confidence or the balls to take rejection like a man. Age isn't the only factor where women can form an opinion like that. As OP said, it's more common for younger women to want "douchebags" because they are immature and not fully developed, and a variety of other reasons. Plus, what is your basis for saying *all* women our age are like that? That again, is the same generalization I pointed out, said by "friendzoned" "nice guys" who want to pin the blame of lack of attraction on the lady. Saying "Oh, I'm a perfect gentlesir to her. Enjoyed your take, I don't understand where men get the idea that being a nice guy means having no backbone. Or that a jerky douchebag gets all the girls. I think most people don't realize how much confidence sells, I've seen chubby guys, regular joes, short guys nab the girl of there dreams (beautiful women) and the common theme was that #1 they were gentlemen and #2 they were confident within themselves, flaws and all. No ones going to look at the person sitting in the corner feeling sorry for themselves and think "I'm going to marry that one", they're looking at the person that's being friendly and respectful, with plenty of backbone, but doesn't need to be a jackass about it.

Sometimes you just gotta look in the mirror make an honest assessment and work it out for crying out loud. Stop going after the bitchy type, you wouldn't be happy with them anyway. If, you don't feel good about yourself, start doing something about or stop whining. If you're looking for love in the club, I doubt you'll find you're future wife there. Eventually no ones going to feel sorry for you, if you're doing absolutely nothing to put yourself in a better place. I don't care if you're working a dead end job, or that you don't look like Jared Leto, or that you're 5 foot 5 with a beer gut that makes you look like your 3 months pregnant. Are you comfortable in your skin? Do you treat me right? Do you love me the way that I am? That's what matters in my book.

I hate to say it, but jerks tend to be overly confident (cocky) some girls like that and that's cool if she's ok with being second best in the relationship.

1) "Class" is a word that I don't use because it puts people into an "us vs. them" mentality and essentially judges people for not being what you want them to be. Your whole myTake seemed to be based on YOUR opinion (obviously) but it seems to be missing a lot as well as very biased.

2) A guy who is into "swag" can still be a gentleman. He doesn't need to dress up unless if he's trying to get a particular girl. There are many women who aren't "fucked up" or insecure that like those guys.

3) Some women are with assholes that they didn't know were assholes before. This is when you hear "You've changed", but they've fallen for this guy and they don't know what to do because of it.

4) There are many women who don't mind a man calling her "bae" or doesn't need a guy to open her door. He will most definitely be appreciated if he DOES that (by many), but it's not a pre-requisite for a lot of women.

And for me, a guy who is cute and doesn't know doesn't make him cuter to me. It can be an indication of low self-esteem which I have barely any tolerance.

You live in Romania, so you have to understand you're looking at this from the lens of your own country. I live in the United States of America (USA), and the closed-minded bigoted young women who live here are the exact opposite. Have you ever been to my country? If not, you can't speak on my part here. You also have to take into account I am NOT talking about girls in your age group, since I'm not a teenager anymore.

Most women under 30 are gold-diggers, plain and simple. I've seen many guys act like "douchebags", some who lack a self-esteem, and many who are the opposite of a gentleman get girls, just because he is wealthy. Wealth is a MAJOR focus on men here in the United States, where women are often judged on their looks.

Also, women my age tend to think confident guys are "assholes" and date these insecure, "emo" type of guys. They also a repulsed by gentlemen. Basically, they date the exact opposite of what this list describes (because they're superficial.)

Girls your age (17 and under or so) are similar but not quite. Since most teenage males don't have jobs or have minimum wage paying jobs, there is no way they can be "gold-diggers", unless they date a guy with wealthy parents (I saw this a lot at the Catholic high school I went to.) However, social status plays a big role. They what to date the most popular guy in the school, regardless of what he looks like.

I have noticed when women hit their 30's, 40's, they're more open minded and go for other qualities, such as personality, and being treated good. The problem is, most of them are married, so not many of them are available.

If this is true for your country, I need to move to Romania.

A suit is much like a uniform in the sense we wear it to work or upper class events. This take is an interesting point of view and you are entitled to have certain tastes. However, with that said, this is unrealistic... Most men are not in a career position where a suit is donned throughout the year! Most men don't even own a suit!
