Why do you wait a day?
To not come off as desperate
And what if you come off as not interested by waiting?
You can't win with girls that's what I've learned some will take it that way and it's stupid either way.

I text the guy I like once each week for he same reason in order not to sound desespearte but I always initiate the text anywa so I believe he thought i was going fast with him and he did not liek that just because I was the one texting him first even if he always responded to my texts.
So if you can't win, better to just do what you want and if you want to text them early, do it!
