what about love at first sight? I know we have to get to know each but there are people who been together for many years or the rest of their lives after that.
You cannot "love" someone at first sight that is infatuation.
The people that were together for many years fell in love later on.
Infatuation is often confused with love because of the feelings.

Infatuation -first several months of the relationship . Happy , head over heels , butterflies in the stomach , exciting , contentment.
Love - can feel like infatuation. But for the "head over heels , butterflies in my stomach " feeling to always exist is unrealistic. There comes a time when love is just knowing how much you'd do for your significant other. It's when you offer your support. You would go to the ends of the world for that person. Love can be wonderful , beautiful , through its ups. When it is down it can be ugly and miserable.
Love is a deeper feeling that infatuation.

Just take appearance as an example, if a person got all traits of her/his looks very perfect (perfect size, perfect 'place'), then that would look so very artificial and not natural at all, so it won't be perfect. thing is, that for something to be unconditional, it cannot be confined by rules. the simple act of imposing rules to be loved unconditionally makes it conditional. Do you understand what I mean?
@bomba78 Do not rely on your own understanding but rather trust in the Lord. Very truly I tell you that it is better to understand than to be understood. God created you, not the other way around.
Those rules are there to bless you and help you prosper; however, you have your free will to choose your own way that leads to death or the Lord's way that leads to eternal life. Either way, God loves you unconditionally.
God is true love
What about those who are non-religious? What would their true love be?
I don't think there is a true love without G. O. D. So if you don't know about GOD, You will never know what is the real true love like, or just your fake love pretend to be true love. Love is a sacrifice just like Jesus Christ sacrifice himself for us. That is the real love, Also like God create everything, before create us. So do you think true love can be found in Atheist? Spiritual love maybe, But that is not realistic, unless you are Plato. I only can say everything they care about may can be thier true love, Their money , Partner, affection, material, emotional etc. But I am sure true love no hate and anger in it. Uless you want to tainted true love, Then you give love a bad name.😉
God will continue to love them as he always had. Even if they end up in their worst, he won't stop. Regardless of what they believe in or love...

True love... is not for everyone? I agree. Some people don't know how to handle it. Others, aren't ready for it as well. In order for love to touch ones soul and be meaningful they have to be at a place in their lives where they are ready to accept it.
Or some just aren't lucky. Like my father's friend who is in his 60s now that never been with a woman in his life.
