I disagree with this. I mean yes, many women behave the way you describe here. They can be insecure and untrusting, but that's not why some men lie to women. It's just not.

He never said women are horrible, ever. He was just ranting about what annoys him. Anyway even if he did think that, what would knowing the cause of these thoughts change? What matters is what he thinks not why lol

@Calex if the why didn't matter, murder investigations wouldn't look for a motive. They would just find whomever killed the victim and send them to jail forever. It doesn't change the outcome (victim is still dead) but it can change the consequences (accidentally killing someone may get you a lighter sentence than purposefully killing them).

@Calex a person who lies for the hell of it is not a nice person. It wouldn't be an assumption to call someone who lies just for the sake of lying (like the OP) an asshole.
He never said he lied to a woman. He said why men lie to women. While I disagree with his take, I really don't think of him as a bad person because he hasn't done anything wrong. He just ranted about his annoyance of women not accepting his honesty. He didn't say he lied to them.
