A couple was tired of their every-day life and decided to explore the world... on a boat!
Charlie Smith (29), and her fiancé, "Captain" (34), both of who knew barely nothing about sailing, decided to quit their jobs and take RYA skipper, first aids and sea survival courses to get ready to start a long journey by sea.

This is "Captain", a 34 year-old an architectural designer.
And this Charlie Smith, she's 29 and she's a former weather presenter and model.
They're still on their journey and these are some of the things they've been doing:
I always lamented that my wife couldn't go sailing with me. She got seasick just looking at a boat. Yes, I would love to do what this couple is doing, but would I love to do it if it meant having a different wife?
Never in a million years.
Who knows? As a widower, I might travel the world by boat yet.
@red324 is it really? I honestly know nothing of boat ownership, but I know if you have the luxury of being able to buy and live on such a nice boat and do all those things without a job, you are part of a privileged few.
I saw a similar story, a couple sold their house and bought a boat and just go up and down the coast north-to-south america. Sounds amazing for the most part.
Hopefully they don't get in trouble. Not knowing anything about boats and then traveling the world is a big step. A bunch of boating courses won't teach you much compared to getting caught in a few storms.
Okay, so in that last photo both of 'em are at different steering wheels. How does that work? I mean a woman trying to steer at the same time as a man? How could that turn out well? lol
