Just like Thanksgiving, a day dedicated to being thankful for the people and things in their lives, Valentine's Day is a day that's dedicated to the sweetheart. It's to show appreciation.
But in actuality, those days are everyday! We should show appreciation to our dearest on a regular basis, not just once or twice a year when Valentine's Day roll around or there's a birthday or on Thanksgiving.
That doesn't mean shower them with expensive luxury items everyday or to smother them like what's done on Valentine's Day. It means to just take a few seconds to say those three special words, or treat them to a nice night out, or a nice night in, maybe flowers or a card. You know, just to remind them how much you love them.
If the person or people are that important to you, then it should be said and showed. If it is, then they'll always know and never forget how you feel. It makes the relationship stronger and better connected. One day may be great, but every day is special. Valentine's Day is everyday!
