How the mass media destroys relationships and creates misery

The war on love, marriage, and family is alive and well. The grim reality is inescapable. Divorce rates are accelerating and more people than ever before are choosing to remain single. And despite all the talk of "people are more happy today," the weight of evidence shows the exact opposite, with more and more people committing suicide each decade. Whether people want to believe it or not, there exists a network of very rich families that are hellbent on destroying people's happiness, and they're doing it by eradicating love and committment. The purpose of this myTake is to reveal to you how they are using the media to break up relationships and cause distress, and how you can protect yourself from their evil schemes.

TV dramas are a great example. If you watch TV dramas regularly, you will notice that almost every relationship never works out. A young couple will get together, and for a while it all goes well. They might even get married. But eventually the man or woman cheats and the relationship comes to an end. It's very rare that relationships in TV dramas have happy endings. What this does is create an illusion to the viewers at home that most relationships eventually come to an end and that infidelity is to be expected. It's all a mind game that makes people in relationships feel insecure.

Another thing TV dramas do is cause misery. According to some studies I looked at some time ago, the highest rates of depression happen around December/January time. I could be wrong, but this is what these studies revealed. Now, quite often these TV dramas will have a character diagnosed or even die of cancer. They usually do it just before Christmas day. Now, is this going to cheer people up, or is it going to make them feel miserable, especially around Christmas time?

It's the same with the news. Most of the news is depressing and causes fear and anxiety, whether it's the economy or the threat of terrorism. The news hardly ever makes you feel joyful or hopeful. The people who own the media know very well that fear and stress is the biggest killer, and that's why the news is always negative. It's designed to make people fearful and stressful.

Another thing the media does is create a battle of the sexes. Men are constantly being mocked and vilified in the media. And women are constantly being given the message of "You don't need a man; marriage and motherhood is oppression; fathers are not needed." I even watched a TV program in the UK some months ago titled, "Do children need fathers." In the audience were women arguing that children don't need fathers and can do well without them. Sadly, too many women fall for this kind of garbage, and that's why this kind of garbage is shown on TV, to help destroy the family unit.

Another tactic they use is to show a lot of highly sexualized activity. In the media they often show young girls or young women in very revealing clothing, and they portray the men as sexual preditors who are only interested in sex. You can disagree all you like, but constantly sexualizing young men and women in the media will definitely encourage a highly sexualized society, even if it takes 20 or 30 years. And when you live in a highly sexualized society, there is gonna be more sexual temptation, and thus more cases of infidelity.

So what is the solution? For me it is simple. I no longer watch TV. The more you watch TV, the more stupid, ignorant, and depressed you will be. Since I've stopped watching the news and TV dramas, I feel a big relief. A lot less stressful. I've come across other people who have reported the same thing. I no longer watch depressing movies as well. You might call it entertainment, but watching films where people are being butchered to death, women being raped, or people shooting each other, watching this stuff never makes you feel good. It still plays with your emotions and stays in your mind.

So, all this evil, depressing garbage is out of my life. Now I mostly watch romantic fairy tales with happy endings, where true love exists, and men and women are at peace. No feminism, no rape of women, no anti-male propaganda, no murder, no foul language,no battle of the sexes. It's all good stuff that makes me feel joyful and happy. If only the majority of people would switch off from the media and watch all the good stuff that encourages love, committment, faithfulness, and happy endings.

The choice is yours, but I can tell you from experience that I feel a whole lot better in myself. The proof is in the pudding.Try it for yourself. Don't allow these people and the mass media to depress you. Don't give them the satisfaction. Let's help restore true love back into society. My theory is that if couples could escape to the countryside, surrounded by peace and beauty, with no TV, most couples would have a happy ending. But at the very least, switch off the TV, watch happy and joyful entertainment, and be at peace.

God bless
