"Similar likes" are almost completely irrelevant.

In general, the ONLY two times when "similar likes" matter AT ALL are...
1/ for someone who has no real friendships other than the spouse,
2/ when those "likes" are literally all-consuming, in terms of time and/or money (e. g., going halfway around the world to climb mountains during any vacation time).

Otherwise, this just honestly doesn't matter much. In fact, for couples who plan to have children, having DISPARATE likes is a very good thing (... that way, the kids will be introduced to a greater variety of things).
