We grew up hearing that Passion is different from Love. Defining something so subjective is a really complicated task and people have a hard time separating one feeling from the other.
After all, what's the difference between love and passion?
Passion:
More than an emotion, Passion is a strong motivation that make us to satisfy the biological need of reproduction.
Passion is insistent and difficult to disappear, and when it is reciprocated, we add emotions like illusion mixed with sexual desire.
Love:
The relationship changes over time. Strong emotions, ecstasy, excessive desire, obsessive thinking, intense energy start to fade.
Couples don't spend all their time looking at each other and the Passion turns into feelings of safety and comfort, a sense of calm, a happy union. The couple loves each other in a different way, warmer and more confident.
What persists is a very profound love and an intimate friendship, a feeling of connection.

5. Desire to meet the other person's family and friends.

So, Passion is what you feel when you're in a relationship with someone who looks perfect in your eyes.
Love is what you feel when you are still crazy about this person even after finding out all their flaws and still, the person is perfect for you.
