It's so great when in life you can find people to surround yourself with who are successful and can boost you instead of tearing you down or holding you back. It's widely known that the company that you keep affects your lifestyle and your happiness. Well what about love?

I think there are a lot of successful people out there but how many of them have found great partners who ar equally successful in their own right - that bring something to the table instead of just being the boyfriend or girlfriend. When you have an imbalance of power where one person is much ore successful than the other, it will cause friction. That's why I think it's great when you do start dating someone who is at your level of ambition or success so that you both benefit from each other's triumphs and are not in each oter's shadows.

A person just need to be equal in love. The income, status or power really doesn't matter when it comes to love. Even if I would earn higher than the guy, it won't make him any less powerful. Moreover, what if you start dating a guy when you both are of equal power but somehow, the guy started earning more than you, so should he leave you for being at a different level of power than him? Materialism is NEVER a part of love. It can be a part of relationship or partnership, but NEVER love.
