I'm concerned about my girlfriend going to a concert with her bestfriend.?

Okay so my girlfriend is going to a concert with her bestfriend and its a lesbian band and what not so before we started dating a guy 'came' onto her at another concert while she was dating MY bestfriend I found out as we were dating and she told him. Now the thing is I can't tell if she's lying or not she was alone so what she tells me, I basically have to believe.

So the problem is that what if a guy or girl 'comes' onto her and starts kissing her like the guy at the other concert and she doesn't tell me?

I'm not going to stop her from going but i'm worried about her ya know?

I agree with snowangle when it comes to trust. If there is no trust then a relationship cannot work. You need to judge her on her current actions not her past. We've all done stupid stuff in our past, that's a part of growing up and learning.

If she's not giving you a reason not to trust her, by that I mean a definite reason where you've clearly caught her in lies or things of that nature, you need to stop worrying and just trust the fact that she's not going to do anything.

If there are legit reasons you're worried about what she will or will not do, aside from anything her past, you should reevaluate this relationship. Because again, it won't last without trust. I don't know how much you've talked to her but you should communicate your concerns so you're both on the same page. However be mindful of what you decide to say to her. Like I said we all have a past and I know I personally would be annoyed if someone kept bringing up mine.

In reality she could be getting hit on anywhere at anytime she's out of her home lol... so just try to take a step back and think of the bigger picture.

You're gonna have to trust that she can take care of herself. You can't protect her from other guys; they're going to come onto her if she's attractive. But she has the power to tell them no.

She may not have meant anything bad by not telling your friend (her boyfriend at the time) about the guy before. Maybe she just didn't want to sound like an attention whore trying to make him jealous. But are you really more worried about her keeping it a secret from you than the possibility of her being harassed?
