That regardless of what changes they or you have gone through between the last time you spoke, you two still recognize and communicate in the same manner that you once did. It's commonly stated between two individuals whom find it easier to converse with one another. Or that they simply haven't changed.

For sure. I don't think its a definitive sign of a solid foundation for a relationship, but its a good place to start. The first "date" should be fun at least. If thats what you are looking for.
