Should my boyfriend call when he's out of town?

Been dating for 5 months and my boyfriend went out of town

for two weeks. Its been 7 days, I thought he would call just to say hi or at least tell me he arrived safely.

We talk every day and see each other every weekend.

Or maybe its because its Mexico and it might cost too much...

Okay I'm thinking he really doesn't care about me much. I feel like I have just been a convenience for him. It's been eight days since we have spoken and I know he has access to phones and computers. Should I text him? I don't want to 'bother' him

I'm currently in a similar situation. He arrived at his destination a day ago safely but didn't bother to let me know. I found out about it through my own means. Maybe he is under a lot of stress and wants to unwind. If I were him I would do it too. But I'm not him so I feel like he is being very inconsiderate. If he were to take 7 days with out making any contact than I would consider ending our relationship since life is too short to be worrying about people who don't care about anyone but themselves. I can't control his actions but I can control my reactions. So don't lie to yourself either or make excuses for him since he will do that all on his own once he realizes he messed up. Take your time to figure out if he is being sincere with his words but most importantly with his intentions. Love yourself first so you can love the right person when the time comes. It will come have faith in life and love.

I suggest that you leave him be for a while. Talk to him when he get back. Then make your decision then. There are too many things that you don't know right now to make any decision at this point. You would think it is easy to find a computer in Mexico but you don't know that. There is a drug war over there, right? Police officers are being massacred etc. Mexico is a very different place than Texas USA. What you take for granted over where you are may not exist in Mexico. For starter, you can't drink the tap water in Mexico just like that without getting a serious case of the run.

Well, it could be because of a money or phone problems. Or it could be that he is having fun and kinda forgot to call. Guys don't tend to think about such things. I suggest you should use what you know about your boyfriend and think if he it the type to call or just forgot. But I can understand that you miss him and you want him to call. You might want to let him know you feel this way, when you talk to him again. Hope that helps =)

So most guys just forget about their gal when they are busy? I know he does tend to get wrapped up in things and time just goes.

Thing is women think different. I feel if he just forgot about me then he must not care about me too much.....

Well he can't really use cell phones out there.. and well he could probably call from some phone.. I think he should still try calling..

Well the reception doesn't work out there..well I'm not sure if that's for every carrier... but ya. usually people can't use their cell phones out their...computers.. might be the same case...unless they have some international plan

Well, I would say he's just not that into you if he hasn't called.

Maybe the girl he's with hasn't given him a time alone so he can call and lie his ass off to you.
