Couple vs couple wrestling... bad idea?

My boyfriend and his roommate are typical guys and wrestle each other occasionally. Last night they tried to get us (the girlfriends) to join in a couple vs couple match. Everybody was for it but me. I wussed out but agreed to it tonight. I realize I'm a girl and its not as big of a deal for a girl to get beat down in front of her guy, but I'm still nervous because I know his gf is going to kill me because she is a little muscle head and I'm a tall, skinny uncoordinated weakling. Am I being silly to be nervous about getting handled in front of him?

I think it is just playful. the guys enjoy it and think you two would as well. I am a short muscular tomboy and I love wrestling but no one wants to. I was brought up like a guy and would wrestle with my dad. But as I have gotten older it seems to be a social no no which I think is stupid. Just have fun with it. Let lose and enjoy it. Do it for yourself and not for other. You have to want to do it to make it fun. But if you really dont want to do it then dont sweet it. Just say you are not comfortable with it and if they are real friends then they will understand and not force you. Just make sure it is you making the decision not someone else or society making it for you.

Do it, it's fun! My roommate and I used to always get drunk and play wrestle, sometimes during our small house parties. We would have so much fun and people liked watching too. Doesn't matter who wins or loses

Thanks we did and it was fun. I'd have to say I did lose but it was fun and I'd do it again. She threw me over her shoulders but we were both laughing. I guess as a guy you have to worry about getting embarrassed but for us it was just fun.

Childish but hot, I don't know try your best and don't get hurt. Since its wrestling and not boxing your height and reach advantage will be of no use, so shell most likely win. Just try focusing on technique rather than brute strength. Learn some submission holds.

If it's playful, it shouldn't be much of an issue.

You can always back out at any point of course and they should be fine with that. I'm sure that nobody is going into it thinking about hurting the other, and if they are then obviously you can say no.

Horrible idea lol. Right off the bat, you guys are inclined to win because your bf's are watching you. Obviously you don't wanna let him down. Same thing for them but x2.
Things can easily get heated and lead to a real fight.

I was thinking exactly what you said but it was fun. I guess I thought what would my bf care if another girl throws me around. She definitely beat me but since she knew she was stronger she didn't hurt me. I do agree with the comment about the guys though, they are much more competitive.

I wouldn't know, me and my buddies grew out of that at an early age we fight and train together. If you guys think its fun though go for it just be carful.
