My boyfriend and I have been together for 6 months. He's 20, I'm 19 and we're in college. Thing is, we haven't had sex.

We're quite intimate - I usually end up completely naked in his bed, with nothing but his trousers and boxers between us. The furthest we've gone is him fingering and going down on me. He's quite a gentleman. He's never even hinted that he wants me to go down on HIM (although he'd probably like that >winksblushesgrinsangry facewinkssmiles<

There is no problem with waiting until marriage. Make sure if you have sex it is something you both are ready for and okay with. It has only been 6 months and in the grand scheme of things that isn't a whole lot of time. My friend has a rule of one year before anything can happen and then she has to be sure she's okay with it and so is he. From the question it is apparent that you have intense feelings for him. Do what you both feel is right. Is he wanting to wait for marriage or has he already has sex before? There is a lot to consider here.

Is he waiting for religious reasons? Otherwise I can't think of why he would unless he's super nervous or something, I would be all on you way before 6 months.

Maybe he is a big believer in not having premarital sex, or maybe he's romantic and waiting for the right time because he loves you a lot

communication is key here... you have to be more direct. I mean his response wasn't very helpful. You both need to confirm your intentions. If you guys are all wishy-washy, then nothing will ever happen. You'll only end up getting hurt. Be more proactive

Don't expect a lasting relationship if you have sex with him. Sex for us isn't as emotionally connected as it is for women. To be 100% sure he will be around get married first

You're naked and no sex? What's wrong with you? Six months? If sex isn't happening after a month I end it. Why should one person get their needs met and the others aren't? If a woman isn't putting out after a month, I leave. No exceptions. Fuck this shit waiting ! Why wait when many women are willing to meet this need. ? there is nothing wrong with waiting to have sex , however I admit if I had a gf back then in college I would of have sex with her , that was something I had wanted to do but it didn't happen
