Can period (PMS) cause a girl to turn cold/start distancing herself?

Questions says it all basicly. But last week my girlfriend has had week off from job, but also her period week. Along with a mum that just had surgery. Last two days she's been seeming cold/distant and talk a lot less. Could period be causing it all? As earlier this week i got updates daily how it was going at home with her and her mum but last two days it's been a big decline and she isolates herself with games instead

Sounds like she just had a stressfull week. He mom was in surgery, she was having her period, she probably was working on things she doesn't get to when working, plus what ever else. Just give her some space 1 week is hardly a reason to worry.

Sure PMS can make a woman moody but not to the point where she isolates her self completely from her boyfriend. I think the situation with her mom has probably got her feeling down and that's maybe causing her to isolate herself.

Could be. Could just be a bad mood too though. Periods aren't always the cause of mood swings like a lot of guys think, but it can happen. If I'm stressed out I get distant sometimes.

I asked her out on it yesterday if i had done anything to make her mad. But she laughed and said no. So i should just leave it be, relax and let her come to me when it's all over?

Yeahhh that's what I would do. Sometimes when we're stressed or feeling distant, we just need to kind of have time to cool off and feel ourselves again. I wouldn't stop talking to her but just try not to be clingy or anything and try not to let her behavior get to you if she's in a bad mood. Good luck :)

That depends. Has this happened before? If not, I doubt it's her period. It's more likely that her family situation is stressing her out.

She's been quite moody last two/three months because a lot has happened in her life, and it has happened almost similar but yet different on one occasion before. But then she let me mostly know what were causing everything and ended up saying sorry in the end, haven't happened yet this time though. I just start to get uncertain/insecure because this is long-distance and i'm afraid of losing her and trying to communicate slightly with her and mostly let her come to be, but doesn't seem to help much. I've been her total support since we got together also, and always try to show my love, support and affection for her. But because of everything i'm not always receiving much back and makes me doubt her feelings for me.

You might be overthinking it though. It's only been 2 days, relax. She probably just needs some space.

So when a girl needs space i should just back off and let her come to me? i'm abit confused though, last few days i have been the one who had to initiate contact always, but today i didn't give shit, then as greeting or so she just commanded me to play with her and no hello or anything at all. So i don't get anything at all of what's going on :p But thanks anyways :)

I doubt it, pms is really only thought of and talked about by guys. It's more than likely has to do with other things she's going through right now.

honestly... that has nothing to do with her period... being on her period makes a girl moody yes but not distant,,, maybe she's going threw somthing because of her mom... and doesn't know how to express her feelings... hope all goes well

It can cause depression, but it could be her family situation. Periods don't help anything.
