Is it normal for a girl to act distant while on her period?

Hi all! I feel like there is a period every month, where my girl gets very distant. She doesn't text me as much and doesn't seem excited about anything. She is rather quiet when im with her and it just doesn't feel the same. I feel like every time she is about to get her period this happens. Does this sound like something you have experienced and is this normal behavior? Thanks :D

Yeah, it's normal for a women not be in the mood right before and during her period. Some women pms.. differently. I get like that. I get distant, and very to myself. Emotional. And sad sometimes. It's no fun. Everything aches and the littlest things annoy you. And in ab out 7 days it's over.
