Girl sent my boyfriend bikini pics?

ybeauty
Hi,

Just wondering about something that happened recently and want some opinions on it as I'm a bit confused at the moment.

Basically, my boyfriend works with this girl who is a huge attention seeker, always looking for reassurance and compliments. Basically she constantly asks him and others if she's fat and complains about being fat even when she obviously isn't - she knows this but just constantly is looking for reassurance from guys.

My boyfriend has fallen for this and has responded to her fishing and has told her she's not fat etc. When tbh, in my opinion, I think he should have just told her straight up to pi$$ off instead of encouraging her attention whoring.

Anyway, to get to the point, he has her number and they were talking about general stuff.. She then goes on to talk about her holiday. Then she decides she wants to send him bikini pics of herself. All he replied to this was 'ohhhh look at you'. And proceeded to compliment her and tell her how can she think she was fat. To me this is inappropriate. He should've told her this, not compliment her - instead he claims that he was going to tell her at work face to face that it was inappropriate (which would've been a week later!)... to me, this makes no sense. Why wait a week later to tell her this? Why not say it straight after receiving the pictures? That's what would make sense to me.

Also, I don't understand why this girl feels comfortable enough to send him half naked pics of herself.

What do you guys think?

@crossroads - too revealing for a 'friend' to send to someone in a relationship. It's just her posing in a skimpy bikini. Not like a group pic or anything.
