Why did you wait around for them? How hard did you try to win them or win them back? Did it work out? What's the maximum amount you should wait to see if someone "comes around"?

I don't think I've ever waited around for anyone, in fact I don't really trust men who don't make their intentions clear from the get go.

Three weeks. She didint like me. Stupid woman. Got her to date me. Mariied her. Deperatley in love with her. didn't work out like I thought but I am happy.

Almost 2 years and now that I look back on it I feel so bad for myself , I knew we would never be more but I waited for him like a dummy..

Like six weeks. Finally got his number and he went to juvie and I forgot about it till now.

2 months maybe 3. After that you just get bored and you lose feelings. That is me anyway.

Been waiting for 6-7 months. He is in an on/off relationship. I refuse to do anything while he has a gf but I like him so much. I will wait for as long as it takes he's worth it :)

  From my perspective, I thought I was seeing different signs from her that made me think something was there, but clearly I was wrong, because nothing ever came out of it. And no I would not wait eight years again. Not without definitive signs of interest. But even then, 8 years is just too long now.

  Held out for the right girl to come along. She never did. Then it reached a point where I wasn't attracted to those my age anymore where it remains to this day and will remain. Now that gap has grown huge and I don't expect to find her now. But for many reasons looking back I'm now very thankful things went the way they did.
