Is it ok that my boyfriend always smile at random girls?

So we're together for a month and I start introducing him to my girl friends. I had 5 of them pulled me aside and told me they know my boyfriend. I asked how and they said he always smile at them in class (they never talk yet just smiling at each other). Well those 5 girls don't know each other so they aren't trolling me. I know my bf because he used to smile at me in class when we were still strangers and one day he approached me. Should I be worry about this? He even smiles at my bestfriend (he didn't know she's my friend). Should I be ok with this or we need to talk? It was just smiling nothing else.

i think you're alset. don't worry about anything or get yourself too worked up, until you have a REAL suspicion. he's just a friendly person, which is great. smiling at someone doesn't mean he's going to run off and try to do something with them. i can see why you're concerned, because it just so happened that he used to smile at you too. but feelings grew since then, obviously, and you were just the lucky one that he fell for. if you look at it this way - he smiles at everyone. so it's not like he had intentions of just going out and dating you, not until he got to know you better, and talked more. it just so happened that he smiled at you first. if he didn't start smiling at you, the outcome still would have been the same. you still would be dating today, simply because he found interest in you. i'm rambling now lol i hope i helped you though!

It's only a worry if he chats up random girls, but I TOTALLY FEEL YOUR CONCERN. Maybe if you feel insecure then you could tell him, but don't go straight up "Don't smile at other girls", you could try telling him "I feel insecure when you look at other girls, it's fine but..." trail off. Yeah I was really concern because smiling at me in class was how he got me... And he's a very confident guy when it comes to approaching me so I'm worried... But the hard thing is he's very friendly, so that might be the reason he's smiling at girls... I don't want to be a psycho and tell him not to be friendly anymore, but yeah I feel insecure about it I want him to know that smiling at random girl is considered "flirting" or "interested" in my book. Not sure what's the best way to tell him that though... :( And thanks you helped a lot! :)

Glad to help :) You guys got together after he randomly smiled at you, it's natural to be concerned at how he smiles at other girls. If he's just friendly that's safe, but you should talk to him directly to clear your doubts. :) by the way, it's not psycho to be concerned over your boyfriend!! ;)

He's really friendly, but he got me for that friendliness of him lol so now I'm worried other girls might think that he likes them because he's smiling at them. When my best friend didn't know he's my boyfriend, she told me she thought he likes her because he's smiling at her... Yeah I should discuss that with him, but then I remembered he told me his least favorite thing about his ex is her jealousy... Haha yeah thank you! :)

If he hated her jealousy then while he's smiling at other girls, grab his arm tightly and smile at her too. You both gain. People see you as the cute, friendly couple and the girl should know her place, and that you're the girlfriend and she's only the random girl he smiled at. :)

That's a cool idea thank you so much! :) But most of the time when he's with me he doesn't smile at any other girls. He even ignores my friends (the one he smiled with when I'm not around) when I'm there with him. But when I'm not there he smiles at them again... :(

He may just be a friendly person that likes to smile. I smile at everyone, doesn't mean i'm going to go out and pursue it, or even think about pursuing them. He smiled at them, yet never talked to them. Doesn't that say anything within itself? I wouldn't look too much into it. A smile is just a smile. A friendly greeting, it shouldn't be looked at as a bad thing.

Yeah he's a very friendly person... but he used to smile at me for 4 months before approaching me, so yeah I'm not sure if that say within itself...

It doesn't. It doesn't say anything. lol, it's not a crime to smile at someone. He smiled at you, then later on got a crush on you because he probably thought you were pretty, etc. He has yet to even pursue anyone else. I wouldn't worry about it if I were you.

Tell him, "You used to smile at me before we met, and I am really hoping you don't hope to land other girls using the same technique because you are taken. Aren't you glad you are taken?". Say this like a joke at first.
