Do people use kik to cheat?

I saw that my bf's phone lighted up green and had a kik notification. He's never said anything about having one before, and I don't know why he would need one since he has unlimited texting.. does this mean he's chatting up girls and using kik to hide it from me? I don't know. He has no international friends or anything, so I really can't think of another possible explanation.

So chances of him actually being physical with anyone from kik are very slim. Yes he's talking to other girls. Sexting and swapping pics I'm sure but as long as he's coming home to you don't sweat it. It could actually be healthier for you to let him have it. He's treating them girls like sluts most likely and acting out fantasies he can't with you. By the way you have that same option. Good luck

It really depends on the person. I bet it's commonly used for flirting. When guys talk to girls it's not usually just for friends from my experience.

Yes and no, I like kik, because you don't need to give people your actual phone number. You can also block people easily. I should probably tell my boyfriend that I have one though :0 whoops 😂

even with unlimited texting people still download apps. it has more features that are quicker than actual texting so its not a big surprise he would have it over texting. is he using it to cheat though? hit or miss really.

He probably still has kik from back when he used it. Maybe it was kik team texting him asking him to get on. It happens to me every once in a while, and i have kik but don't use it.

And he doesn't have to run anything past you or tell you ever detail about his life or what apps he has on his phone, i think you're being a little too paranoid and automatically thinking the worst when really you shouldn't be just because he has kik doesn't mean anything i dont know how you jumped to the conclusion he must/might be cheating just because he has a kik you didn't know about?
