I would hope people realize that every country and city in the world has a pervasive and rather vibrant sex trade. whether it's illegal or not I'm fairly certain any place you go in the world you can find a sex trade.
so I would hope that a woman or man can trust their partner regardless of where they go that they won't do something they shouldn't do. if you are in a relationship with a person and there are constraints on what you can do due to trust issues, to me that isn't a healthy relationship
why isn't it the same? it's illegal in Thailand and yet people go on sex holidays there as well?
and legality really is irrelevant when you are talking about fidelity in a relationship. my wife is against murder. If I went to some country where murder was legal should she be concerned I'm going to murder someone? she shouldn't be implied in our relationship is an understanding about what type of behavior is ok and what isn't ok. so just because I go to a country where something is legal doesn't somehow excuse doing things that are out of character
or even a more relevant example. in Portugal all drugs are legal. so should my wife concern herself that I'm going to go do heroin just because it's legal there? no, I can get heroin in Philadelphia as well. what stops me? I don't do heroin. so what stops me from hooking up with a whore (in a place where it's legal or not)? I don't cheat on my wife... or pay for sex
i think a healthy relationship should be about the feelings between two people and not dictated outside circumstances. by that I mean. my gf's expectations and faith in me shouldn't change because I'm in one place or another, or with one person or another. I shouldn't (especially my values, beliefs, etc) become a different person because my environment changes and my gf or wife would hopefully feel the same way... If I went to Amsterdam or Vegas where prostitution is legal and suddenly did something that went against my character I wouldn't blame or say it was because of the place but because of my weak character... and a partner should see it the same way
I would. I know the nature of Dutch guys and I won't be afraid to let him go there as he would come home the same night again (Amsterdam is only 45 minutes of driving, so why would he go to the RLD if he could go home to me?). Besides I do trust him and if something may happen I know he could take care of himself.
Of course lol. How can you "let" someone do anything, he's a grown man. And just because there's a RLD doesn't mean he has to use it, I would be jealous that I didn't get to go though. I want to go check it out for fun and Amsterdam seems really beautiful and care free.
I was watching this show recently and the women on it were visiting Amsterdam, they have cannabis coffee shops with like an entire menu of cakes, brownies and all kinds of things you can buy, it looked fun even though I don't smoke it lol
Ofcourse. It's half a hour with the train for me, but let this state from a foreigner, the red light district really isn't that big. It's not like women go on streets everywhere and ask if he wants to have sex. It's just one small area where women stand behind windows. Other places are way worse. He probably won't even go there and I wouldn't even mind if he went there to take a look. If he cheats then it's a different problem, but you should have trust in him.

@ Asker: Have you seen Russian women who get into this trade in places like the Middle East? You would say the same about them. Perhaps its not that quality of girls is far superior in Amstdm. Its the open way and different experience that make it stand out.
