Can I trust my girlfriend when she's texting her ex?

I caught my Gf texting her ex. We have been dating for almost a year now, 9 months to be exact, and it's been pretty good, I really think I love her. Recently though, I was using her phone and she got a text from him. I didn't say anything because I wanted to trust her, pluse he hasn't been in the picture for almost the whole time we've been together. So I let it go. I notticed another time though, that she got another text from him so I confronted her about it. She let me read the text and they have been nothing but casual conversation or random questions from him,harmless enough. THE STRANGE THING IS,she met up with him about a month ago to return his stuff/get hers back,but I notticed his stuff is still in her apartment. Now I'm becoming kind of paranoid. I trust her but it's getting harder to trust her now that I see him liking her instagram posts and that she unblocked him on Facebook. I haven't found anything that says she's cheating, but I know the guy. He wasn't too happy about her dating me specifically. We are supposed to be moving out of state when I graduate this year, but I feel like my trust is wavering. How should I handle this?

Do you have a good relationship? Then simply ask her, just tell her how you feel about the situation and explain it to her
Just make sure you only say thing about you, so don't say something i have the feeling that you're cheating or anything
try to keep it in a way where you dont blame her or accuse her for anything, you can be honest (again in a good relationship) about what crazy thoughts are going around in your mind, but you refuse to believe

In my experience girls loved this about me that i did that, might seem a bit sissy or so but for me it always worked

He obviously wasn't out of the picture for her then, just to you. Anyway, she sounds dodgy, i would definitely confront her. It's not normal. It's so dumb when people pretend they want to be friends with exes, like this was never an issue, it's a nowadays thing that everybody is staying "friends" with exes and then the new partners feeling (rightfully) not good about it.

If you have a good relationship with her and you trust her then just chill out for now but if she continues to text him or meet up with him again then you should confront her and let her know that it bothers you.
