My boyfriend is a streamer is it wrong to be jealous of his followers?

Hello, I'm in a relationship with a guy who streams games on twitch. He's got a bit of a following and it hasn't bothered me until I realized that almost all of his followers are girls. They are really flirty towards him and it makes me uncomfortable. He tells me it doesn't mean anything and that they are internet people and won't do anything but I've had internet relationships before and it's easy to cheat with someone over the internet (emotionally). I'm already insecure and our relationship is fairly new.

I'm trying to stay busy but I can't help but feel sad whenever he streams. He does it every day for almost 6hours.. I feel like it's a whole other life that I don't understand. Is it wrong for me to be jealous? What should I do?

Streamers, Youtubers, etc... are all a relatively new "thing". But if you really consider it, they're nothing more than entertainers in their own way. So instead of playing music or performing on stage for something, he instead plays video games and provides whatever commentary he does.

So I'd say you have to consider if being with an entertainer is alright with you. Someone with the act of interacting with people, keeping a presence with them or staying relevant to them, and sharing his life with them. Your insecurity is something you need to address, whether or not you two continue to date. It's never healthy and while it's not easy to conquer, that doesn't mean that it shouldn't be.

But you need to consider if a person that puts himself in the spotlight and interacts with other people (girls obviously included) is something you can handle or not. If not, you must either do some soul searching to find out if it's something you want to change about yourself, and if you can change it. Otherwise, you need to consider the fact that maybe it's an aspect of him you can't handle and would be better off parting ways.

Same here. That's hard... i've been bad and i check his Private messages And found out he was flirting with her in private. when I told him he said that it was nothing. I also found out that he have a special app to talk with one and she is now Mod of his channel. He stop playing games with me and always play with her.. she is a streamer too so... He lie to me about a lot of stuff.. I saw one of their message and he told her stuffs like "it is a shame you dont have webcam, cause your kindda cute ;)" and make her translate stuff like "I live you with all my heart" since she dont speak to same langage... anyway... good luck to you.

whats his twitch? I watch twitch a lot and don't worry, streamers only flirt with the girls to get people to stay and make content.
