He can't be in the same room as his ex, does he still have feelings for her?

I have been seeing this guy and I know his ex. The thought of her makes him really upset and if she ever happens to be in the same place as him (bar, grocery store, restaurant) he has to stop whatever he's doing and leave. I feel like either he still likes her but she doesn't want him, or she did something pretty terrible. Whenever he talks to me about her (which isn't often) he refers to her as that whore, and she just makes him so angry. We haven't been together that long so I haven't really asked him about it yet, they haven't been together in years. Do you think he still has feelings or he just genuinely dislikes her THAT much? Thanks.

Sometimes we tend to take men completely 100% wrong. Upon reading this I instantly thought that he still liked her. However, if you try and step back and look at the situation head on, it could go both ways. Men are completely different then women. In many ways. Most women will jump into a relationship with just about anybody who makes us smile because we are so desperate for love. Men, on the other hand, are very reluctant to jump into that sort of commitment. So when they do get into a relationship and that women screws them over and rips their heart out, it takes a lot longer for them to recover. She probably cheated on him, used him, lied to him or worse. So he probably is suffering from a wounded heart/ego because of how much he did for her, and her taking it for granted. Don't think too much into it. Just stand beside him through out it and prove to him that you are nothing like her. That's really the only thing you can do.

Upvoted !! You certainly understand we guys have differently wired brains !! Men ( myself included !! ) will block out / pull away from a person that has harmed us... women complain when men " pull away " , this is normally due to nagging or other negativity from his partner , guys , especially myself , MUST have their own space & also feel appreciated , most women take the efforts made by their men for granted , or worse keep putting him down all the time & bitching & moaning too often. by the way... are women REALLY that desperate for love? So many come across as indifferent to men , if not a bit hostile to guys

A lot of women definitely are desperate for love. I know so many women personally that will jump into just about anything with anybody that makes them feel good for a second. Not every woman is like that but definitely a good handful!

Probably, but they are not likely the feeling s that you're thinking he may have.. Haha

If she cheated, it likely reminds him of the betrayal each time he sees her..
Also, some people simply don't like to see their exes.

So basically, yes, but those feelings are more than likely, anger, resentment, betrayal, frustration and whatever other negative emotion you can think of.

I experienced this before and i could not look at her coz she broke my heart.. i still remember her but these days gone and i left with nothing but bad memories. it is like my eyes canot look at her. i closed the chapter of this love and moved on with new life, new character , new attitude.
