My boyfriend isn't adventurous?

This really bothers me because he's very athletic and I always play the sports that he wants to play when we hang out. Whenever I suggest doing something like hiking, bike riding, canoeing, or even going to an amusement park, he declines. It's so annoying because those are some of my favorite things to do now that it's summer. He will not, absolutely will not, go to an amusement park. He told me that I am going to have to take my best friend because he will not go. I've tried to tell him "You're so athletic, you'll love hiking" but he refuses. It's very weird and I don't know what to do

You two don't seem common interests you aren't very compatible.
He doesn't enjoy many of the activities that you enjoy.
Either you accept that or you find someone who is more compatible with you.
It really comes down to just that.

Before this , have a talk with him.
Although he doesn't enjoy many of the things you do, in a relationship he's supposed to meet his partner half way. And you the same.
I can't tell you how many times I have sat through shows I have no interest in to make my partner happy.
