When your partner lashes out on you and spites you when they are angry, do they still love you?

My boyfriend has issues with hurting me on purpose when he is angry. He knows what hurts me and he knows what breaks my heart. How can he love and care for me when he does this? Over and over again.

If he physically hurts you, you should leave as soon as possible, possibly bring a friend to protect you if you do.

If he just namecalls you and yells at you, then you can either give an ultimatum, or just leave. These people unfortunately don't tend to mature in this regard unless they realize just how much they are in the wrong, and they typically don't.

If he loved you, he would respect you enough to control his temper when he is angry. I tell my partner, "I'm really pissed off at you, but I still love you, and I still want to go to sleep with my arms around you."

Well he keeps saying "blah blah am going to do this now, so you have a reason to leave" he keeps hurting me on purpose and breaking my heart. Meanwhile we are in the middle of working on trust. Me trustin him.

You are in the middle of prolonging a relationship that is never going to work. You have so much time that you are willing to waste months or years on a relationship which will never work?

No am not okay with that. I mean. I know logically it is no good for me. But I love him so much, but he hurts me so much. I never hurt him intentionally, and when I hurt him unintentionally, he spites me a lot. He knows what hurts me

Then he's not good enough for you. Personally, I would stop loving someone the moment they intentionally hurt me. Dump him before he does you more harm.

He might have anger issues and some of his anger probably isn't about you at all its just you're the easiest to take it out on. You don't have to put up with it
