Why did the receptionist in my office wink at me?

One of the receptionists who works in my mates office has said to him about me "who is the tall good-looking guy that comes here?"

She is 37 (I'm 22)

At the Christmas party last year, I was in a room full of guests when I saw the receptionist across the room who was talking to people at the time, but then I waved at her and she waved and winked directly at me!

Can I ask, what was meant by her winking at me?

What could all this mean?

She isn't married either my mate tells me.
