What are good questions to ask when getting to know someone?

I have asked my friends their opinion and they tell me that they ask he typical questions (what you like/don't like, etc.). I wanna know what odd/other questions would you ask someone you are getting to know?

Well for me if I liked her right away and seen she was interested in me I would probably tell her what I wear and why I wear them.. and other then wearing them I am very normal.. I would then hope she she likes me enough still to want to ask more questions.. it would also lead me to ask more to her.. and hopefully it all comes together in the long run.. had many dates start out that same way

ummmmmmmm does this require having a social life? ha well i just ask the basic stuff or i tell them things about myself then ask for their response, things like do you read or watch anime or play any games are my go too -3- or what their tryin to do with their lives
