your first definition was dead on "A vaguely scary guy who you don't like is sexually attracted to you".
but, to me creepy also means
1. the guy is showing some major red flags...like lets say you're already going on dates with him and he does some sketchy things like doesn't take no for an answer, yells at waiters, etc, controlling, basically if he crosses too many boundaries all at once right away
2. the guy is someone you don't know too well but maybe see at certain times, like maybe at the bus stop or at work or something like that and he doesn't leave you alone
but it is a derogatory term and I realized I used it soo much that I've scared myself with relationships. So I've been trying to not use the description of creepy anymore.
...but the word is all relative, totally depends on the person.
A creepy guy is a guy you don't like that is trying to hard to get you to like him. It doesn't necessarily have to do with the way he dresses because different girls like different styles.
He doesn't even have to be scary; sometimes, creepy guys are annoying.
There is not feminine version of a creep; a close version for a woman is probably 'a psycho.'
creepy for me is a guy who can't take no for an answer, who calls you all the time, has to be around you all the time, control your life, ask you odd questions, suggests bizzarre sexual acts, gets whiny when you suggest a "cooling off" period, and who makes you feel uncomfortable and downright nervous...been there, didnt "do it" bought the t shirt...
Haha very droll.....and dave grohl is as far from ugly as you can get.......and somehow I don't think that is you on your profile, call it a hunch, have a nice day now ;0)
Yes I have experienced a "creep",in fact I think he may have been their king.and as for the profile pic lol,im not on here to take part in a "popularity contest",its highly possible that a certain person,is one of those that will call women lesbians because they won't go out with them....
hmmm...that is part of what it means...I also feel that it means someone who comes off extremely strong in pursuing his feelings. Or someone who won't lay off, like very pushy and doesn't get the hint that a girl doesn't like him, or just ignores all of the not-so-subtle hints.
Heh, My girlfriend uses the word "creepy" all the time, but never in the sense that you're talking about, and always in really odd situations. like if we're watching a movie, and something interesting happens, she'll mutter "Creepy". Or if there's something that's just vaguely... Y'know. She just uses it to mean "This item has piqued my interest. Also, I feel like using this word." Pretty arbitrary.
if a women calls you creepy then get the hell out of dodge before you get the police at your door.. some women are justified in calling guys this becouse the guys are just messed up pervs, ALTHOUGH it can be the womens problem. if she has been through a lot in the past and has low self esteam and other residing mental issues.. either way don't push it and walk away..
Creepy does seem to be a make directed word. I use it sometimes to describe men. I don't think I've ever used it to describe a woman, which is funny.
To me, if I say, "That friggin guy is creepy..." It means, "There is things about him that aren't very clear. I can't figure out where he's coming from. He seems to be hiding something and I can't put my finger on it. He's mysterious in some a way that makes me feel, I DO NOT WANT TO FIND OUT WHAT HE'S HIDING!"
It means a little scary, slightly disturbing, etc.
I saw my girlfriend in a mall (total coincidence, I didn't know she was there and she didn't know I was there too) and just followed her for a while. When she entered a store, I came close from behind and said "Hi!". She turned back, saw me and said "That was creepy!". She repeated it with present simple tense when I said I was following her for around 50 meters.
If we're talking about in a social context, this usually refers to guys who come on too strong, stare an lot and generally just make women uncomfortable by getting in their personal space, or just by being innappropriately flirtatious etc.
It is a typical female slur for certain men and is used way too often. it should not be used at all. Typical women aim at certain men based on looks or learning disability, they just like to try and be manipulative by saying they aim it at men that leech onto them.
Creepy just means they are, at bottom, dishonest, hypocritical, and not to be trusted. They have slack morals and are self-centered, probably narcissistic as well.
creepy means a guy a girl is not attracted to but is attracted to her and awkwardly shows it...think of a stalker...that's a creepy guy...I don't think it's anything like a scary guy, that is, someone who looks tough and rough...
Note: I'm speaking for me, and me only and not on behave of other girls.
I don't think I have used the term 'creepy' to define the male sex. Frankly. I've learned that what other girls call 'creepy' is a result of them being afraid and the guy not being their type. Most of the time, a girl who uses this term, doesn't know how to act around a particular type of guy and freaks and that's how the term comes into play.
Cause the feminazi movement has preached that guys are evil and they are out to treat all girls like pieces of meat...so girls seem to be more paranoid over nothing these days. It's not your problem...many girls have turned into social retards.
its such an overused term it has much less meaning than before . its just thrown at any guy who she doesn't want to date or have sex with that finds her attractive . any guy these days is guilty of being creepy if the girl doesn't like him
My idea of a "creepy" person (male or female), is when the person gives me a gut instinct of scariness. I listen to my instincts, so a creepy person would make me shy away from them instantaneously.

It's just another way teen girls stigmatize guys who are a little different in some way or another.
(guess who was too smart and introverted in high school?).
You would call retarded guys creepy, except that your politically correct teachers have drummed it into you that you shouldn't.

i haven't read your updates or the answers
but it means a guy that makes a girl feel uncomfortable, weird and just... maybe even dirty in a bad way.
it's just a guy that's not pleasant to be around..
OR! he's just...
well..
it's broad.

You can be different w/o being a creep.
someone who stares you up and down like he wants you. EEEEEWwww especially older men who look at young women
I can tell you that younger girls use it a lot of times to describe much older men who are trying to pursue them.
