Am I too ugly for my boyfriend?

My boyfriend and I have known each other for 4 months now, but I'm worried I'm too ugly to be with him. He only rarely calls me pretty, and he showed me pictures of all his ex girlfriends recently and said how hot they were. To me he's the most attractive person I've ever met and I tell him that a lot but it never really seems reciprocated. I'm scared I don't measure up and I'm worried he'll find someone prettier than me. Am I just being irrational?

First of all he's a jerk, obviously the only thing you like about him are his looks. Part of it is your own fault for elevating his ego even more to the point that he can humiliate you by comparing you to his ex's and all you do is be worry to be dump for someone else. Work on your self-esteem and gain some self respect.
Upload a pic of him and let the girl's on the group rate him, I'm sure he's just full of shit..

If you are insecure then you will subconciously always send out the signal :"I'm not good enough" etc. Then he probably will dump you. He approached you because he liked the way you look and he's stayed wth you for 4 months so I don't see why you should be insecure. You can never know when someone might leave but if you think this way the chances are definitely higher.

I think he likes you as a person but wants you to be more physically attractive. However, if he is selfish enough to let that affect how he treats you, he's not the best person for a gently person like you to be dating.

Actually, after reading your comment reply about showing his previous girlfriends, he must've been thinking about your appearance on an abstract level. He must like a unique look you may have, but don't be insecure! He also needs to compliment you more and be sensitive to your feelings. Make sure you communicate this through words or body language or actions. (ex. hugging him during scary movies, idk)

But then again, if he called those girlfriends hot, he might've been calling you indirectly not so attractive. It may be an aura of insecurity either from you (your experiences in life, etc., causing you to feel insecure) originally or caused by the way he treats you.

It's not something to worry about in my opinion. If he's with you and you feel that he cares about you like you care about him, that means that you're pretty enough for him. I think it was pretty messed up for him to tell you that about his exes and show you them but I don't think he necessarily meant to be mean by it, some guys are really thoughtless about some things they say.
