Should I let him win?

Me and my boyfriend both play tennis, that's how we met. Long story short, we are about even skilled so sometimes I am able to beat him. The problem is that he always gets super pissed when I win. So should I just let him win so that he doesn't get mad at me? Or is there something I can do to make him feel better about losing to me?

When I say super pissed I don't mean like he gets mad at me or yells at me or anything like that. He just gets really mad and like won't talk and when I try to cheer him up he ignores it.

Should you let him win? Never.

Don't ever let someone win because you do not want to deal with them losing poorly. Those people need to just go away.

As for winning, my advice is to always win when you can. And when you can't, then lose gracefully. And when you win, win gracefully. Win at a close call, if you are a winner then you should be able to control the level of difference between the players so a good loss is earned well..

giving him attention, trying to make him feel better just makes it seem like there is actually something to be upset about...

Don't let him win, but what about an agreement? Winner has to give oral to the other. If you win he gets a blowjob to make him feel better, if you loose the you get some "cheering up" too. No down side?

It depends on what your relationship is. Is he challenged when he looses to beat you or does he just get upset and quite. If he sees you as a rival then don't let him win. If he just plays to win and hates losing then let him win every once in a while. Though always make sure he knows that you will win when you set your mind to it.

He has anger issues. And you cannot go on losing at tennis and later other things just to keep him from getting pissed. If he cannot accept that people, including his girlfriend, are better at some things, or at least can win some of the time, then you should find someone who is not the type you need to pretend to lose to.
