I wouldn't say "ALL" women do. But it happens way more frequently than non military relationships seem to have cheating. I was in the military for 6 years and it happend to at least half the guys I knew. And the funny thing is a lot of women say men cheat during deployments. It's not easy to have sex on a deployment unless I'm just not cool enough to know all the best ways to do it. I've heard of plenty of stories of men having sex during deployments and getting caught and they were married. But i've heard about 100 times as many stories from guys I knew personally, who were cheated on, not to mention just stories which propagate throughout word of mouth. So do all of them cheat? Of course not! But the odds are much higher. That's the nature of humans, we go without sex for a while and we start getting horny and lose our sense of judgement I guess.

+1 yIt happens a lot the other way around. My brothers are/were in the military and you wouldn't believe how much infidelity goes on when they are away. My brother pretty much said that half the guys there were pieces of shits, should just leave their gfs/wives/fiances and remain single if they want to act like they're single

@Red_Arrow sadly :(
It's why they never wanted me to date any of them. There were only very few guys that they trusted me ever going out with. - +1 y
@Red_Arrow no. I wasn't bothered lol I wasn't in a rush to date anyone. Just them asking him if they could ask me out
- +1 y
@Red_Arrow they didn't really have much contact with me that's why lol
Is it true that men generally cheat on their wives pretty much any chance they get and/or leave them for younger, sexier girls after years of dedicated marriage on the wives' parts? Yeah, sometimes. But not always. There exist shitty people in both sexes. Just gotta be good people and hope that our partners do the same.

+1 yMore like the other way around. Yes, there are women and men who cheat who have their significant others who are deployed... But you'd be surprised how much cheating goes on with those in the military that are deployed... 😱

@Jeeevan I have had family members in the military and they told me about it. Just because I am young and female doesn't mean I couldn't be in the military myself. I definitely could have witnessed this myself, then I'd know for sure. I am going based off of what a family member witnessed whilst deployed. But thanks for your prejudgment of me not knowing shit about what goes on in the military just because of my age and gender. Sure, you just asked "how would you know?" but I have a great inkling of what you were going with that question.

Nice job jumping to conclusions and playing the part of the offended victim.
I've been in the military, so I can speak from firsthand experience. For every Marine or sailor that fucked around on his wife, a hundred wives fucked around on their husband. - +1 y
@Barrabus_the_Free coming from a guy who refers to women as "bitches" in every other comment he posts on this site. Clearly you have no respect for humans in general, let alone yourself. Kindly see yourself off.

I voted false because I am married to a soldier and I would never cheat because of my morals but I have known people who cheat. There's a high divorce rate in the military.

+1 yI think most people cheat. Statistically, it's more than half of each gender who admit to cheating or admit they would cheat if they thought they could get away with it. One study I read said 68% of women and 75% of men admit they would cheat if they could get away with it. That's just scary. Be careful who you marry, no matter who you are.

It's very common! I heard suicide stories of boyfriends committing suicide because their girlfriends left them or cheated on them.
The solution: Do not date until you come out alive from military services.10 Reply690 opinions shared on Relationships topic. yeah being prior service I can confirm that, over half of them actually do, usually the ones who are younger and have impulse marriages like "I'm in the military now lets get married" after they've been dating less than a year just for that extra income, so really you can also blame it on the husbands for not finding quality wives, however obviously some do and don't cheat.

+1 yGirls cheat, women don't. If you marry a girl, expect her to cheat on you, whether you're deployed or not.

Anonymous(36-45)+1 yDon't think so. But i hear tons of stories of the dude going away and sleeping with women from that country. Happens all the time. While the woman is at home worrying about him praying he'll come back ok.

Everyone I know who deployed, their wife cheated. Every. One.
Opinion Owner+1 y@Barrabus_the_Free that's fucked up. I've never really heard of it from that side, but obviously know it happens, I just always hear of guys going off and finding girls wherever they went. Even throughout history it's happened loads.
- +1 y
Well, Barrabus_the_Free, my husband served in the military for twelve years. I never once cheated on him, and was completely faithful. He, on the other hand, cheated on me multiple times and even got a woman overseas pregnant. So, as you can see, there are two sides to that coin. But I did see and hear of a lot of wives cheating while their husbands were deployed.
+1 yWhen I lived in Jacksonville, FL the bars were full of sailor's wives looking to get laid while their husbands were at sea. I had a hard time some nights getting dick because the sailor's wives were getting all of it.

I used to work at the shipyards in college. I worked at Mayport NS and was there
when ships were leaving for a six month Med cruise. The ships hadn't cleared the
jetties and I saw sailors wives and girlfriends hooping into cars with other men. I could
have fucked any number of sailors wives, but I never knowingly did. Although, Marines
and sailors do fool around when they're deployed. It's sad both ways. - +1 y
@Marinepilot I know some of the wives used to strip at the clubs when their husbands were at sea and while they were doing a lap dance they'd let the guy know their rates for sex which also hurt me because they were seriously undercutting my rates. I didn't stay in Jacksonville long.
- +1 y
Sailor wives stripping? I've seen that to. It's sad, bad true. Mayport Road is still strip clubs and used car lots.
- +1 y
@Marinepilot 199.00 down and 49.99 a week and you can drive away today! Texas had a lot of those type car lots too.
- +1 y
SvetlanaSavachenko-I'm from Texas and you're right. Believe it or not those buy here, pay here car lots can make a fortune when times are good. Sailors's wives were so ridiculously east
to fuck. I fucked a bunch of sailor's girlfriends, wives I may have unknowingly. But never intentionally. The best bar at Jax Beach to pick up girls in my opinion was either Driscoll's or
Pete's Bar. Also, my favorite honky tonk on Beach Blvd was GiGi's. I never got shut
out at GiGi's. GiGi sold it some years ago for $3million. She got $1.8 million just
for the liquor license. - +1 y
@Marinepilot I was a Slut in most all of the bars in the Jax Beach area. It's been so long ago though I can't recall any of the names.

+1 ya cheater is a cheater. If she has a history of cheating she''ll do just that when he's gone. And it's the same with the man deployed.

Anonymous(30-35)+1 yI've read somewhere that military psychologists say its the number one reason for men in the military being considered unfit for service because of fear that their wives will cheat, this gives them so much stress that they can't carry out their job and they fall in a depression.

LOL!
No. Just no.
For every ONE that does that, a hundred cheat with dozens of men, and a thousand cheat with just one or two men.
Opinion Owner+1 yMaybe they did a shit job at finding a wife/gf!!
- +1 y
So you're telling me that EVERY man out there does a shit job at finding a woman?
Maybe every woman that's been date-raped did a shit job at finding a date. That's essentially what you're saying. Either way is wrong.
There is no such thing as a 'good' woman. Some are just better behaved, but their nature is always waiting, watching, looking for an opportunity to run amok.
Opinion Owner+1 yBahaha then there is no such thing as a good man. Goes both ways. Your incredibly closed minded. But I'm sure there's whores to blame for that. I would never cheat on my significant other. I'd rather end it than do that.
- +1 y
There probably isn't. There are men that will allow themselves to be nothing more than utilities for women, the men that all the "Where Are All the Good Men" articles refer to. And then there are the men that won't.
Save your bullshit for someone that might buy it. I've heard that same "I'd never cheat, I'd rather die, I can't understand why people don't end things first" from plenty of women, including women I wasn't involved with or even banging, and you know what they all had in common? They were all cheaters. Every. Single. One.
I understand, you all can't help it. I don't hold it against you, I'm not mad about it, it doesn't even hurt any more. That would be like being mad about a tornado.

The Marines were created literally because Washington didn't trust the Navy to police itself, so he created the Marines.

@Waffles731 - With no disrespect to the Marines. I invite you to say those things to some Seals!

@Red_Arrow
Oh I'm sorry, I was too busy thinking of the U. S Air Force Pararescue, the guys that get sent in to rescue everyone else and have the hardest training of the U. S Special Forces - +1 y
@Waffles731 - They have been around for a long time and are tasked mainly with search and rescue type operations in combat areas, and giving medical assistance under those conditions. However, their task is to get in, usually by parachute or rope from helicopters, rescuing people and getting out. A long stay would likely be 72 hours.
Seals usually have to infiltrate or fight their way in, fight battles against larger forces, giving rescue and medical attention where needed, and then fighting their way out, often being there for many days, or even longer.
And the though the Pararescue teams rescue many, the Seals do not use them. Their assistance is from the Special warfare combatant-craft crewmen (SWCC).
So ask Osama who was assigned to take him out. And again, I invite you to tell your feelings to a Seal's face. - +1 y
@Waffles731 That they do. Marine Force RECON and Navy SEALS have rough training as well.
