Thoughts on military men cheating on their wives overseas?

It recently became known to me than many men will have sex with foreign women in the military, and come back home to their wives like nothing happened. Does this bother the wives or is this kinda expected?

I have never heard this. I'm not a military wife, but I'm betting the wives don't expect infidelity from their husbands while they are home worrying and managing the household alone. I'm certain they aren't okay with it either.

No, it's not expected as adultery is a violation of the UCMJ. Service members cheat when away with each other and spouses waiting back at home cheat as well.

People stay faithful as well though.

To be perfectly honest, all the stories I heard were the other way around: The wives cheated on the guys in deployment… 🤔

Age old hypocrisy. Guy cheats on deployment, he doesn't mind and his friends cover for him or say nothing. Lady cheats whilst he's deployed, suddenly everyone hates her.
