Should military wives/husbands who cheat go unpunished?

People at the home front can succumb to enemy propaganda which can make them betray their spouse and home country. Therefore I believe they should be subjected to severe punishments.

They better hope their partner doesn't come home with ptsd cause theyre a goner 🤦‍♀️ But i think military spouses should be kept an eye on while their partner is away. The spouses (male or female) should lose all benefits of being a military spouse if they cheat. I’ve never been one for cheating but i liked someone in the military before but felt it was best to end things early because i know i’d question my strength/morals if we were dating and they were gone overseas for long (unless we were married and/or had kids)

It definitely isn't ok for military spouses to cheat while their partners are away. But it's also not ok for the military members themselves to cheat while they're gone on trips. From what I've heard, that's a very common thing also. But it's wrong both ways.

Yeah i have no idea why people stay in relationships or get married just before going in to the military... Not sure why people go into the military to begin with but ah well

No, cheating is cheating and you know what you're signing up for. If you can't go months without sex regardless of love for your spouse than either have an open marriage or don't get married at all.

When I was in the military and gone my wife cheated on me I really didn't blame her for it though I know she has her needs
