Have you ever heard of the book called "why men love bitches?" What are your thoughts on it?

In the book, Sherry Argrove says that the nice girl, when going on a date with a guy, will cook him a 5 course meal and get dressed in her best heels while the bitch will make him popcorn for their first date.

She says if you want the guy to value you you have to make him earn your respect and you can't fall madly in love on the first date.

What are your thoughts on it?

I don't even know where that stereotype came from to begin with unless you live in Japan where, no matter what you are, you're a woman :D.

Or unless you're on GaG where some of what these guys say about themselves in relation to women make ME want to gag.

But seriously, since what era has a legitimate guy been legitimately attracted to a bitch?

Let me tell you in bright flamboyant hand gestures (which you won't be able to see) what you, and most other girls, are thinking.

Okay. You see these dudes, right? They big, strong, aggressive and loud. They like to fuck. So, who do they fuck? The girls that are most willing to fuck them, of course! BUT, what do a lot of these girls also happen to be?

Right... bitches.

So here you all are watching all this. You see this very out-there minority of all guys sleeping with bitches. So what do you do? You assume that all guys would be up for ANY kind of relationship with a bitch.

You ignore the obvious reality that those guys are both:

1.) Far from the average group.

and

2.) Not giving a shit that the girls they get with are bitches. (but why?) Because they want to FUCK!! That's it!!!

So I guess you can say I just answered my own wondering right there. But still.

It's true to an extent. If you want me to value you, you have to value yourself first. I want to earn your adoration and respect, not be given it free of charge.

However there is a threshold of exactly how much, which is different for every guy.

I really agree with this, I generally dont give a guy my all. I dont tell him everything there is and I dont wait around for them to contact me. Nor do I play house to a man in the beginning. Its annoying when I see so many women getting involve with men who treat them like crap and its annoying to see women who play house to a man when he does nothing to help out. I find that men tend to use the females who seem more put together. Thats why its best to be mindful of what you reveal to guys in the beginning.

It's the same as the "nice guy/bad boy" thing...

It's not being a bitch or a jerk to not immediately throw yourself at a date at 120 mph, but instead build connection and levels of investment gradually as you continue to bond. It's not being a jerk to evaluate if a person is a good match for you before committing. It's not being a bitch/jerk to have boundaries and desires of your own.

I don't think it's a men/women thing, I think it's a human thing that some people don't make intelligent decisions, they think emotionally and they follow their base animal lusts when it comes to picking a mate. Because I've known SEVERAL females who "love bitches," in fact I have always associated the behavior and psychology you describe more with women than men.

Good thoughts. Girls will test men with their standards A man needs to have basic things like a good looks , god job , a lot of money , and he needs to be intelligent and smart and have a wonderful personality. But all these things are of no use if cannot make her laugh and keep her happy. If she does not have feelings and emotions to this guy she will not want to spend time with him. Some girls know to play the game of love and they don't show their feelings immediately. They make the guys work hard and be completely interested in them , before they make the first major move. Things that you get the hard way are more precious and guys know the value of those things. So girls make guys realize who precious they are. And if guys want to have them , they need to raise their standards higher and need to be more involved in relationships. Girls know that when a guy loves a girl dearly he will try to pursue her at all costs. That is what such girls want..

No, being a bitch is not attractive. Having confidence is. Hot women are also more likely to be bitches (they're used to getting preferential treatment) so in those cases the guy likes her despite, not because of, her being a bitch. Lastly it can be a turn off for some guys (for others it's a turn on) if the girl is completely submissive and forgets to actually voice her own opinions and hold a real conversation. But in the end we don't like bitches.

It's good for selling books to women because it makes women feel good about themselves, that they are powerful, and that men have to do shit for them because they're just so damn special... That's something that we DON'T like about women. We like when a woman looks good and possesses good qualities. After that, it's up to her how she acts and reacts to people around her.
