We used to talk everyday, but not anymore?

so me and my guy friend used to talk everyday, I met him 2 months ago and we have become really close. we always used to talk. but for the past couple of days he won't talk as much as he used to. he would say "hi" and what not but it seems weird to me. I don't know why I feel so sad about it. I feel like he doesn't want to talk to me anymore and I don't know why I care so much

shoud I say anything about it or should I just give him some space
