So my boyfriend and I have been dating for 3 years and we both don't fart in front of other. He has done it a couple of times but usually he avoids doing it in my presence. I don't remember what brought it up but he said something like "It's so funny that we've been dating for all this time and I've never heard you fart." I just laughed because I get super embarrassed about that stuff and I said he didn't need to know that side of me ahaha :) Anyway, he started pushing down on my stomach to try to get me to do it and I just thought he was being way too comical about it lol. Like who wants to hear their girlfriend fart? I think it's probably the most mortifying relationship moment a person can experience & I just want him to view me as sexy/desirable which is why I don't do it. Guys, are you curious about your girlfriend's farts? LOL. Why was he behaving this way?

just shows a level of trust. I don't fart in front of my boyfriend on purpose although when on my period I do by accident sometimes. He knows I find it embarrassing so he pretends he didn't hear it. He farts in front of me though. I don't care as it isn't excessive.

LOL :) I don't know why but I just feel like I'd die of mortification if it happened ahaha. Sometimes I'll feel the need to do it but I'll just go to another room because I don't want him hearing it or I just hold it in!

Both of you having food poisoning and only having one bathroom is mortifying. Pooping during childbirth, your period coming early and you sleeping through it to wake up to a scene from Carrie etc
Sooo many worse things haha. I'd rather have a certain level of comfort with the smaller things but each to their own 😊

Yeah, he really is the best :) He always makes me laugh and comes up with the weirdest conversations starters LOL. It's funny because I'm such a shy person and he was the "class clown" type so in our case opposites attract :)

on the one hand it´s nasty xD but on the other hand there is that connection that you feel so comfortable around each other that you do it. it feels less distant if she does it. feels closer in a sense.

if you´ve been together for that time you´re not "one of the guys" xD i guess it also has to do with your upbringing. like in some famies, a fart is funny and in some it´s super bad manners.

Yeah, I think a person's upbringing has a lot to do with it. I've always been super weird about stuff like that but I can find the humour if it happens to other people. If it happened to me however I'd die of shame LOL
