My girlfriends step dad abuses her what could/should I do?

My girlfriend currently lives at home and her step dad calls her n** (yes she is black he's white) spits his chew spit on her car she's almost positive he's stole money from her and the list goes on. She's too scared to go to her mom because last time it got worse. Now before y'all say she's a bad mother she has cancer and is too tired to deal with it from chemo and shit. He won't do it around her mother nor me but when they are at home alone together he torments her. Im leaving for the army in a few months so I can't move her in with me and she's a senior in high school. I have had no problem physically confronting people when I was in highschool but now that I'm graduated running people up walls has its repecutions. (< I don't know how to spell that word sorry) what would you guys do? Personally I think he needs a big ass kicking but sadly doing so would kick me out of the army.

Wow thats horrible for her to go through. I would advise you to tell her to go to someone she can trust at school. She has to tell her mom about this guy, so that the mom knows what is going on. It sounds like the guy can be trouble and may have a hard time letting go. It should be something that should be done with careful planning. I have heard and read of to many cases where the stepdad doesn't take no for an answer and causes harm on the kids and the mother. My main concern is that once she tells the mother, if she is going to leave him or not. Or will she leave him temporarily and then get back with him.

I would postpone joining the military so that I can help her get out of her situation and then I tell the mother even if she has cancer - if she dies - he will get all her money after she dies - and the money should go to the daughter - not the abusive step father.

as soon as you get through training sign up to try for on base housing, you might have to marry her though to her to live on base with you, its up to you how much its worth
