Is my boyfriend's best friend trying to come between us?

So here's the low down, I've been dating my boyfriend for two years. In those two years we've had a lot of ups and downs, but no matter what we have stood true to each other and always believed that more ups would follow. One problem we have that won't seem to go away, his friend, this guy who he met and became good buddies with. I hate this weasel for many reasons, one he tries to tempt my boyfriend into drugs (pot), all the time, which my boyfriend quit. Anyways beyond the point. The worst thing is this piece of trash is that he has the hots for me like there is no tomorrow. At the bar he feels me up, when he comes over and my boyfriend leaves the room he tells me how beautiful and special I am. I've told my boyfriend to stop seeing him, he does for awhile, buddy apologizes, they move on. Now however he's gone to a new low. He's emailed me on Facebook, not for the first time tho, to tell me he's got something super important to tell me about my bf. That's he's been keeping things from me I need to know because I'm too good a girl to be lied to. Tell me, from what I've told you about him, the feeling me up behind my bfs back, the constantly emailing me telling me I'm beautiful and I can talk to him whenever, and now this big secret my boyfriend is keeping from me, when we live together and see one another everyday, just not during the day when I'm at university and work, tell me, is he causing trouble or should I be genuinely concerned. I told my boyfriend about this, he's livid and insists nothing ever happened that I don't know about. Please I need some help, am I dumb to trust my bf, or am I dumb to believe some guy I barely know? xxo

update everyone,

told my boyfriend about the situation, he confronted him about it. He told my boyfriend that he was trying to break us up to get back at him for something he said/did to him the day before. Can you believe that!

anyways me and my boyfriend are fine, the weasel is out of our lives, and he apologized to me for not getting rid of him as a friend sooner! :) thanks for all ur advice I appreciate it. xxo

Sounds like a bad friend here. Whatever important crap he needs to tell you about your boyfriend, you can gladly decline. This is what you call 'gossip' and usually only girls do this stuff.

He may try to cause you drama and get you to break up with your BF, all for himself.

Personally, if I was your Boyfriend I would have broke ties with this guy. For starters, he felt you up. Secondly, he does drugs. He deserves a better friend than this. When you find good people to be friends with, value them and keep them. But when you meet others who do such bullsh*t moves that make you look untrustworthy/deceitful/manipulative, you cross them off and stay distant.

I personally had a friend that would rip on me every time we saw each other. He would just tease me about what I'm wearing, how I look, or call me a name or two for fun. I let it slide but in all honesty I won't be seeing him anymore since he doesn't show me the same respect back that I show him.

just have your boyfriend listen in on the conversation. Once he hears what a weasel his so called friend is that will be the end of those two together. If you do go and talk to that d*** alone, it might seem to your boyfriend that you don't trust him, which would be exactly what this guy is trying to achieve. Don't give him that pleasure.

Before my husband and I got married one of his "best friends" use to always come between us whether it was on purpose or not. He would try to talk my husband into doing things that he shouldn't be doing. I would constantly get calls from this so called "best friend" or e-mails and he would say that he has something to tell me about my husband(at the time boyfriend) and my stupid a** would call him and believe his crazy stories. To this day this friend of my husband refuses to go away and it causes a lot of stress on our marriage. My husband is an amazing guy but when this friend comes around...trust, honesty, and ethics fly out of the window. I would say stay away from your boyfriends friend and stop listening to his bulls***. Yet on the other hand, best buds do tell each other everything...question is do you trust your boyfriend...

That's still iffy, but if I were you I would listen to what he has to say. If he tries to deviate in anyway to talking about anything else then don't bother arguing with him, just hang up.
