Can you keep your hands to yourself in a relationship?

Some friends, some people from my class and I where out together, well we met up and all
anyway two of them are in a relationship and it's all new and the whole day they didn't really touched each other, they just sit together and talked, but they didn't touched at all

For me it was so fucking weird, I personally can't stop touching the other person if I'm in a relationship (in a normal way, not everything needs to be Sexuell, just in case someone only thought about that)
I just can't keep my hands to myself, I need to feel the other one so bad, so it was for me so weird to see them like that.
I also already asked my friends and one agreed with me and the other two didn't haha

Anyway what about you?

Oke well I didn't meant being all over the person the whole time, I would totally get annoyed of that haha

But like accidently brushing your hand on their legs or arms or small things like that, just small touches, and these two didn't do any of them, they didn't touched each other at all and yeah

I mean if I go out with family or whoever with my boyfriend, we are able to go the whole time without touching each other. I find it weird and awkward to be all on each other in front of people.
I've been a third wheel before with a couple and I hate sitting there while they're all cuddly and touchy with each other lol. So I don't want to put other people in that situation.
Maybe if we get a second to ourselves I will hug or kiss him.

I'm not sure if I'd want to, but am certain I wouldn't have the courage. (At least not to be the first one to do so. If I could, I'd be casual about it as I continued to be nervous.)

I would not touch my boyfriend in front of my friends. I see it as disrespectful to be all PDA in front of others, esp in public.
I am touchy too, but that does not mean that I would put others in uncomfortable situation.
