When she says "hey, I'm busy with work lately can't really hang out"?

FYI I'm not asking for you to tell me she's not interested and no she didn't give me an alternate day to make it up. Just want to know what to say to her On a response back on the text. Don't wanna come off needy just wanna be cool with it. Pretty much what should I say or should I not say anything back. Obviously I like the girl. Kinda pissed she got busy with work, *Again* but I have to respect that she's working hard at her new job as a journalist.

So I have two different suggested responses depending on what you are trying to achieve with your response...

If you want to find out if she is really interested and not just stringing you along then you say something like, "OK. Since you are the busy one, why not you name the day/time for our date? Let me know when we can go out."

If you want to just keep the status quo and just keep talking to her then you say something like, "OK, that's cool. I am sure eventually we will figure out a time that works for both us."

I am not sure why you would not want to know for sure if she is actually interested or not but whatever rocks your boat. :)

Im telling you this.. if someone likes you, they want to hang out with you. Even if they are busy, they would make time for you. Her being "busy" can be the truth but if she keeps saying this, then why do you still want to pursue her? Its because she doesn't want to hang out. If its one or two times, you can just say that you understand since its her new job. But if it keeps going then move on. You will just irritate her. I've done this to guys Im not interested in.

Understandable, but we hung out a lot when she didn't have a job but now that she start a new job as a journalist in the big city and for big company I kinda gotta give her the benefit of the doubt.
